We were traveling from Quebec City to Montreal. Rail and coach options were evaluated. Departure times were similar. Travel time was less on Orleans Express. Orleans Express cost was about 25% of the rail fare, representing, a savings of about $150. The train seats would probably been a little more comfortable; but, not enough to override the savings.

I've only taken this once, so my review is based only on the one ride, but it was a great way to get between Montreal and Quebec. The whole process was fast and efficient (except in the bus terminal in Montreal it was slightly unclear where we were supposed to wait). The bus left on time and arrived slightly early. The bus driver was courteous, helpful, and seemed like a safe driver. The price was very good, especially compared to the train at the time we booked. The electricity and onboard Wi-fi worked well. Overall an excellent experience. And the drive...oh my goodness. We traveled October 7, and hit the autumn leaves just right. For someone not from the area, it was SPECTACULAR. In other seasons I imagine the scenery would still be quite pleasant, especially for someone not from a green and/or snowy part of the world.
