Paradise cave is the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha – Ke bang National Park’s core zone. With naturally primitive features, Paradise Cave looks like a landscape painting; making it a natural wonder that many have enjoyed since its opening in 2010. There are a series of white crystal stalactites (limestone deposits) resembling natural pillars and many other spectacular formations. The Dark cave is an adventurous and action-packed experience. Visiting this cave includes harnessed zip lining over a turquoise river, swimming into the mouth of the cave (lifejackets included), walking through the dark with only the head torch on your mining helmet to illuminate the way, having a mud fight in the buoyant mud baths deep in the cave, washing clean with a swim in the lake inside the cave, then kayaking back across the river to test your strength on the hanging obstacle course and open ziplines. This is a half day tour that includes a lot of fun activities. We start off in caves and then go and dip in the mud baths and rinse off in clear blue mountain streams that line the Phong Nha Ke Bang national forest. Amazing experience.
2. Abandoned Valley 1 Day Trek
This trek is perfect for individuals willing to put in some extra work to get further into the jungle and explore some truly unspoiled tropical rainforest and caves. On this trek you will hike through the original Ho Chi Minh trail to the secluded Abandoned Valley in the heart of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. In abandoned valley we will guide you to two very special caves, E cave and Dark cave. At this private side of Dark Cave you will have opportunity to explore 800m into the darkness with your guide. Then, once at E cave we will feed you with a delicious jungle BBQ (vegan options available) before swimming in the amazingly blue waters of the cave.

The 1st km was not impressive. Too much artificial lighting. Too many people who do not truly appreciate nature and understand the value of what they are experiencing. The wonder started the moment you left the wooden walkway onto the cave platform, and walk for another 6km into the dark. We took the tour at the end of May. We had to wear protective helmets. The cave was huge and cool, decorated with stalactites and stalagmites of various sizes and shapes. Once we turned off all the lights and stood in absolute darkness and silence to experience the sounds inside the cave. We swam across a little stream. The water was refreshing. We did some rock climbing. Not dangerous at all, just kind of adding spices to the walk. At the end of the cave, the cave opened and let a stream of sunshine pour in. The tour guides brought lunch for us. The grilled chicken was so yummy. It was a marvelous trip. We highly recommend this tour.

Dark cave is an adventurous and action-packed experience. The cave is comprised of mostly basalt, in addition to limestone. Basalt is a black, hard rock; also contributing to the cave’s name. With this rock surrounding you, you squish through the narrow and muddy passage using only your headlamps to illuminate your path. I went with them with the advanture tour to mr Vo nguyen giap ( name on died famous matarial general) cave. its super new cave, nearby dong hoi not in phong nha and exclusive form netin company. ms nga is. enthusiam, fun, reliable tourguide and she makes the tour more exciting witn her energy and kindness. I have no regret at all, she and netin made my dong hoi trip to best memorable even im a solo traveler. I went to paradise cave 7km the day after, turn out this cave is easy to walk than vo nguyen giap cave. every cave has its own beauty, if you guys need a local tip, netin is the best choice
