Pyla (Greek: Πύλα; Turkish: Pile) is a village in Larnaca District, Cyprus. It is one of only four villages located within the United Nations Buffer Zone, the other three being Athienou, Troulloi and Deneia. Pyla is located in the eastern part of the island, adjacent to the British Sovereign Base Area of Dhekelia. From a legal point of view, it is administered as all other areas controlled by the government of the Republic of Cyprus.

I visited Serenity with my husband while on holiday at the nearby Tsialis Hotel, as we usually try to fit in a massage and this spa was just a minute walk away. We did have to book ahead, as even out of season in mid November they couldn't fit us in as a walk-in. It's easy to see why they're so popular - our massages were amazing! I had a 30-minute back massage, which also included chest, neck, head and face. It was great to have that extra attention rather than just the back. The pressure was hard but she really worked the tension out, and even apologised at one point saying 'this must be very painful but you're so tight!' My husband had a 1 hour full body massage at the same time next to me, and he said it was the best he'd ever had. Once mine was over I was allowed to continue laying there while my husband's continued for another half an hour, which relaxed me even more to the point where I fell asleep! Our masseuses were very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Serenity and will definitely return if we're ever in the area again.

Such a shame that the Oasis bar is closing! It was always the meeting place for those of us who were serving over in Cyprus. We had many a leaving run at the bar and many fancy dress nights. I was even privileged enough to work behind the bar when it unexpectedly got full without notice! I still have my staff polo shirt! Tito, you will always be remembered by those of us who frequented the bar and it will be sorely missed. Thank you for all you did for us all Good luck for the future Scouse PS. I'm over in Cyprus on holiday next year and was going to bring my wife over to meet you and show her the bar. Never mind. Great memories

We have been going to the Skylight for decades and it is still the most amazing music and fun venue in Cyprus.... brilliant music, great, great, great staff, fabulous food, we love, love, love the Skylight.
