Pula is situated at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula and is the area's largest city. Located beneath seven hills and with views of the Adriatic, Pula's unspoiled natural surroundings are magical. Known for its mild climate and tame, beautiful sea, Pula also has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing and shipbuilding. It is also home to many ancient Roman buildings, including the well-preserved, magnificent amphitheater.

An interactive museum dedicated to the everyday life of Pula from the 50's till the end of the 80's; presents the life and home of a typical family; a time machine which transports our visitors into an era of black and white TV, vinyl records and typewriters, evoking a sense of nostalgia in our older visitors and showing what everyday life looked like ''back in the day'' to our younger visitors.
An engaging experience worth a visit. A journey through time where you can explore, feel, touch and interact with authentic objects. Do take your time inside, discover and immerse yourself in that part of history.

In the centre of the town, but do ask the locals the way, as there are either steps or a slope route...the latter is a lot easier! At 32m above sea level it is the highest point in the city. Entrance fee was 20HRK per adult, about £2.35....so that is why I have given it 5stars. Okay, there isn't a lot there, the boxing displays, although beautifully presented may not appeal to everyone, but the WW2 display about Croatia was excellent. They don't do refreshments so have a pit stop in the town before you go.
