Puerto Quito is a town and urban parish in the province of Pichincha, Ecuador. Puerto Quito is situated beside a major bridge over the river Caoní on the main road from Quito to the coast. By road, Quito is 140 km or 3.5 hours by bus.

We read in the Lonely Planet about this reserve and wanted to go there to learn more about the nature and culture of the region. And we sure got it! Raul picked us up from the bus station and immediately started to tell about his diverse projects: the rainforest, coffee, chocolate, animals, music. To much to tell about here. And, you should go visit yourself! It's really worth it, and the views from the house are magnificent. Great for bird watchers too.

We had a nice time on our tour which was organized by Andean Touring. Jamil Diaz was our personal representative and he escorted us on our Segway Tour and was very attentive and helpful and even furnished us with photos that he took while on the tour with us. Taxis Van Service made for a great experience during my time in Ecuador with family and friends.
