This nature park is amazing and well worth a visit. The park is small and therefore great for children or those who cannot walk far. The staff were really welcoming and made me and my Mum feel very much at home. It felt like we had a personalised tour from the director who explained in English for our tip. We saw many different types of wildlife here as well and the habitats were all very natural. We also were welcomed to watch the owl display where we saw Phoebe the tawny owl, the barn owl and the long eared owl. There were numerous wildlife hides to sit in and watch nature, binoculars recommended. We saw storks, kingfishers, otters, owls, great spotted woodpeckers, jaybirds, many ducks, the tortoises and herons to name a few. Although the park has limited opening times, I would recommend visiting to any nature and wildlife lovers to spend a day or afternoon here and therefore contributing to this parks conservation for the future. Thank you for a lovely trip here.

You can reach Monte Pizzoc a three hours walking in the forest from Fregona. In summertime it is an amazing walk and the view from Pizzoc to Cansiglio plain and the mountains is fantastic.
