I was a bit worried about taking our little boy, who is 9, to this class, but I needn't have been concerned :he was involved and interested from the very start. We picked up lots of good tips and insider knowledge, and the sorbet and ice cream were absolutely delicious! So glad we did this, thank you!

I highly recommend this experience! As an Italian American, this is the epitome of a traditional Italian meal with friends & "family." The grounds were magnificent with its beautiful pool and gardens, from where you will pick and use ingredients. And not to be missed? "Charlie's Wine!" I went there in 2019 and am just waiting for the skies to open up to go again. Charlie, You wait for me to come back. I look forward to taking you up on your invite to see your shop, and cook/drink with your family again! This time I'm staying in Sorrento and traveling to Naples! *I went in June 2019, but I didn't get that choice in the required drop-down menu.

Toffini Academy is ranked in the top 10 Cooking School in Italy but it is the only one totally dedicated to non-professional food lovers. That's why you will not learn in the kitchen of a restaurant or a Pizzeria but in a special domestic kitchen where you will have your own place and tools to maximize the experience, because our promise is that you will be able to do it at home!
I don't know where to start from, this experience has been amazing! Worth every penny, the first thing you'll notice when you land in Naples(Napoli) is how amazing their pizza is and how much they take pride in it, in this class you'll understand exactly why this is happening, the history of pizza making in Naples and the little secrets that make it the best pizza in the world (in my opinion)! Everyone at Toffini academy made sure our private class for me and my wife on our honeymoon was as special as it can get, with a delicious welcome drink, introduction and then the class by the amazing Chef Luigi, there's a great feeling about the best pizza ever had being made with your own hands! And not only was it an amazing experience, we had a full pizza and a fried calzone (pizza fritta) each with an espresso afterwards! All super delicious and filled us up for the rest of our trip in Naples! Those 2 hours were totally worth it, recommended and would definitely do it again!

My family has been running a farm on the Amalfi Coast for the last four generations: our main focus is offering excellent traditional food and wine produced from organic ingredients grown in our farm. One of the tradition in my family is to make home-made pasta, pizza in our wood fired oven and produce wine using only our grapes and exclusively for locals and our guests-

A cooking school located in the center of Sorrento was missing and now the guests of the city have the chance to reach us easily, just walking a few minutes from their accomodation. Also the idea to recreate the environment of a typical neapolitan cuisine in the center of the-city of Sorrento is an absolute premiere, since there are no similar initiatives in other parts of our Country. The idea is to create from the very first visual impact a cordial and family environment in which the guest can feel immediately at ease. The purpose of our school of cooking is certainly to teach to the foreign guests to prepare dishes of the traditional Neapolitan cooking exploding the myth that cooking is an activity for the chosen few. However, we also show the referential aspect and fun inherent in cooking, starting from the assumption that eating is not just a biological necessity and that food is also a way to get to know the culture, the way of life and traditions of our Country.
My husband and I had an excellent private cooking class with Chef Tony. This was definitely one of the highlights on my trip to Italy. We had a three course cooking class with Chef Tony, where he taught us the secret to Italian cooking, and provided us with great recipes to take home. His English was great, and he was a very funny and patient teacher. We tried booking a day in advance on Viator.com and had a problem with our reservation being confirmed. While we were in Sorrento, we stumbled upon his cooking school and were able to book with him directly. He had flexibility in his schedule to accommodate us. Thank you Chef Tony!
