Nestled in the West Kerry Gaeltacht (Irish speaking area) and with a spectacular landscape the tour explores, the rich and diverse mixture of its archaeological sites and history, it’s flora and fauna, music and culture and a myriad of other attractions. This is a tour not to be missed and will always be remembered.

So much history and great views on this tour. The Gallarus Oratory was one of my favorite stops, but you can also pet a baby lamb and see a filming site from Star Wars Episode VII, Basically something for everyone. Comfortable, warm van and you can leave the driving to Colm and enjoy the views. Even great in the rain!

I will collect you at your accommodation and we will visit the highlights of Killarney commencing with a visit to Ladies View, then Torc Waterfall, Muckross House and Gardens, Ross Castle and Lough Leane returning by Aghadoe. I can customise this tour if you have specific places you would like to visit in the locality. I will share the history, the culture and scenery of our beautiful town. My vehicle is a Mercedes V Class which can accommodate up to six guests comfortably.

Paudie is an incredible guide and his Ring of Kerry tour is not to be missed! He was born and raised on the Ring of Kerry and, as a result, knows everything about the area and is friendly (or related to) most everyone who lives there. He took us places we never would have found on our own or seen on another tour, and we loved his stories of growing up in the area. The tour was entertaining, educational, and spectacularly beautiful. And his van is super comfortable and immaculate. Our kids loved Paudie and we look forward to seeing him again for another tour. We highly recommend!

As a party of four we have just had an amazing 3 night 4 day experience on the Emerald Pullman First Class Train Trip. The journey took in many of Ireland's most scenic & spectacular locations including Waterford Crystal, Killarney, The Ring of Kerry , Cliffs of Moher & Galway Bay to name just a few .. We experienced first class service from the time we left Connolly Station. The whole experience was completely relaxing and hassle free as everything was organised for us every step of the way, from the lovely hotels we stayed in to the wonderful tours of our beautiful country. Would highly recommend Railtours Ireland if planning a staycation and a huge thanks & appreciation to Jim Deegan and his very professional team for a great holiday in Ireland.

Sure, have you never heard of an Irish half hour? It can stretch out for days and 5 days is what you’ve got to experience this memorable, expertly guided road trip, over ever-changing landscape, along The Wild Atlantic Way. From shucking Clarinbridge oysters and downing creamy stout in Galway, to the jaw dropping sights of the Ring of Kerry, with only the Atlantic separating the 40 shades from the 50 U.S. states. Cool down with Fungie, Dingle’s resident dolphin who came for the fish in 1984 and stayed for the craic or feel like you’re at the edge of the world, at the dramatic Cliffs of Moher. And how about a spot of kissing at the Blarney Stone where you’ll come away with the gift of the ‘gab’ (talk); handy for ‘having the craic’ with your small tour group. And in between the heritage and culture, bohemian Galway and dinky Doolin, there’ll be ceol agus craic (music and boldness), seafood and banter and an epic road-trip you’ll never forget.
Inclusions: Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast, Air-conditioned vehicle, All Fees and Taxes

Sadly, in these uncertain days of Coronavirus, I had to cancel my upcoming tour. The team at Overland Ireland were compassionate and understanding in working out the details so as to minimize losses all around. Flexible reschedule options into next year were offered as well. This is the kind of small company to support.

Our guide was Karina and we couldn't have asked for a better one! She was brilliant and went way over the alloted 90 minutes. Very knowledgeable and a good laugh too, which we were in need of, it made for a very entertaining morning for myself and my son. Loved the little anecdotes from Bruce Springsteen to The beatles, as well as all the history, both modern and old. The recommendation of a good Whiskey shop was spot on and I'll look out for her in The Commitments film next time I watch it!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. The ride was and scenery was may even more enjoyable because of the humor of the driver. We went in September of 2019 and I found their card while cleaning out my suitcase. It was so enjoyable I had to add a review.

As a huge fan of Medieval history, I really enjoy my visits to Kilkenny and Glendalough. The Sheep Dog Trials make for an excellent escape from the city hustle.

We had the luck of having David and Caroline as our driver and guides. This was a small bus tour that was able to stop in many places along the route that the large buses could not manage. In addition, they planned the day so that we avoided the same large buses at various stops. So informative a tour with a delightful couple as driver and guides. They were so accommodating that. when they heard we were staying in Tralee rather than Killarney, they drove us back rather than have us take a cab! Don't miss using this couple for your tour.
