We went for a hike near here. We just happened to pass by and stopped in. Very impressive collection of artifacts from the war. Detailed history of the war and the hardships of the soldiers as well as the local people. Glad we stopped by!

The Albino Luciani Museum "MUSAL" aims not only to tell the life and teachings of Pope John Paul I but much more. Albino Luciani's true greatness is also revealed through an understanding of the historical and social context in which he was born and raised: the traditional "Pieve" (parish) of Canale d'Agordo, which let his vocation mature and defined the personality of this universally loved pope.

The Glasses Museum in Pieve di Cadore collects more than 4.000 artifacts that narrate the story of this precious accessory from ancient times to the present. The wealth of objects and documents are presented to the public in two paths: on the first floor you can see curiosities pertaining to the world of lenses and eyewear: nose-glasses (pince-nez), hand-held glasses ( face-a-main) , cases, fans and walking sticks with glasses hidden inside them, binoculars, monocles, magnifying glasses, most made of stones and precious materials. On the second floor there is a rich and complete exhibition of documents, photographs, interviews, vintage documentary films and equipment documenting the history of the glasses industrial district from the late nineteenth century to the present day.
