We revisited Offida to see this church as one of us had seen a documentary on television. This imposing church on the edge of the town survived the many mines placed during WW2, making many faithful believe it was a miracle. The vast interior is beautifully simple with its plain stone walls. The entrance is at the crypt then you go upstairs to the nave with more frescoes and a statue. It is only a 5 minute walk from the town hall and well worth seeing. The young man on the ticket desk was very informative and was kind enough to leave the church open for extra time.

The farm Poderi dei Colli tells a story of passion and elegance that is born into the world of wine. The winery plunges his memory in the hills of the town of Montalto delle Marche, in the green heart of the province of Ascoli Piceno. Our philosophy is that of producing high quality, biological wines that can express the typical characteristics of this land kissed by the sun, always oriented towards full exploitation of the potential of the vines. We were lucky to have stopped here for a fe hours when traveling along the Adriatic coast. The village is nicely preserved, with wonderful views and a great historic atmosphere. Plan at least an hour to explore the alleys and viewpoints (including the castle‘s ruins).
