Iker gave a virtual presentation via Internet of his Bilbao and Guggenheim Museum Private tour. It was very interesting to get to know this amazing city and Iker showed a lot of impressing photos so that everybody could perfectly imagine the tour. At the same time, he answered a lot of individual questions, showing a very good knowledge of art, the city's history, food etc. All in all, we got a vivid image of Bilbao and will book him as soon as we will be able to visit this city for real.

Although it was a rainy & windy day and only the two of us on this tour we thoroughly enjoyed. Gorka our tour guide was very knowledgable about everything. The places we visited were beautiful and just imagined them in summer with the sun shining. The chocolate tasting was great the quality of the cocoa shone through. I would definitely recommend this trip I just wished it was better weather.

The Nervion River is the origin of Bilbao and it is also the main axis to understanding the development of Bizkaia and the Basque Country. From the fantastic Azkorri beach, a very special beach and probably our favorite beach close to Bilbao city (it is easy to reach by bus). This beach with black sand, is covered by a green blanket of dunes and flanked by a steep cliff, it is the perfect spot for nature lovers, and is considered a geological and biological jewel. The path that runs along spectacular landscapes and steep cliffs, arriving to the mouth of the River and up to Bizkaia Bridge will help you to understand the past and the present of Bizkaia; the most important province of the Basque Country full of heritage and traditions.

We travelled by car from Bilbao with Iñaki for a day tour to Rioja. Tasted some fantastic wines and had some very interesting wine making information from wine makers. Iñaki explained much about the history of the Basque and Rioja regions during the day’s travelling. We highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in wine making and regional Spain.

The explanations provided during all the tour were accurate and very extensive but at the same time funny. The tour guide was fantastic. He was a local young guy full of energy and good vibes. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting San Sebastian.

We worked with Nerea to organize 2 days of private guides for our overnight in Bilbao on our cruise. Nerea was great to work with, and the two historical walking and Pinxtos tours were amazing. We have done a lot of private tours in our travels in Europe and our two private guides, 1 in San Sebastian and 1 in Bilbao were 2 of the best we ever had. I wish I could remember the ladies names that took us around, but they were FANTASTIC! The food they shared with us was amazing. They took us to very different places in each city, but places that they liked to visit is locals. The Pinxtos were amazing, the wine was amazing, the history tours were great. The guides were so knowledgable, personable, flexible, and they made us fall in love with the region of Spain. You cannot go wrong with the service and the guides provided by Basque Destinations. Our guide in Bilbao even walked around the Guggenheim with us and explained things (even though techinically it is not legal to do so), and for people who are not versed in Modern Art, it was very impactful, educational, and made the experience so much more enjoyable. I wish I could remember the women's names, but I waited too long to write the review...but you will not be disappointed with the private tours created by Nerea and her team.
