Stopped at the tasting room on our way through Washington State. The staff was very nice and poured a few extra tastes for us. Tasting fee was waved since we purchased, also received a 10% discount for being a veteran. The wine - especially the reserve was excellent.

Alexandria Nicole Cellars is dedicated to producing small lots of hand-crafted wine from our own Destiny Ridge Estate Vineyard. Our 267 acre estate vineyard is located high above the bluffs on the Columbia River, near the town of Paterson, Washington where our grapes thrive in the soils and climatic conditions of the Horse Heaven Hills. In addition to our winery we also feature exclusive wine club rooms, and banquet facilities in our tasting rooms located in Prosser and Woodinville, Washington.
The tasting room is located in a small strip mall, there is no outdoor seating or grounds to walk around. The tasting room itself is quite dark. They had a pretty extensive tasting menu. The $5 tasting is refundable with wine purchase.
We enjoyed their chardonnay and syrah. They have 2 separate tasting rooms reserved for members only. There were plenty of merchandise to indulge shopping.
Our host was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a very enjoyable time.

A family-owned vineyard and winery producing a wide range of estate grown wines and celebrating 50 years of growing wine grapes in the Yakima Valley.
Airfield Estates is a wonderful place to relax and try out different varieties of their wine. They have a large area to roam that includes a gift shop. There is a good selection of Air Field Estates branded merchandise to tempt us. Their sommeliers (leading...MoreThanks for your visit! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience!

We stopped here on our search for a sweet wine. We found a late harvest Riesling that we partook of while sitting outside.
This location has several tasting room. Since this was our last stop, we did not check out the other rooms, but we suspect, like Coyote Cannon (the one we visited) they are more along the lines of a variety of red wine speciality.
There was a nice tasting room and small gift area.

We did not stay at their facility, but despite the lovely wine tasting and gift shop room/facility and friendly staff...we were all three were very disappointed in their wine tasting selections. They doubled their tasting cost this year, to $10, refundable with $25 purchase. BUT, the three of us did NOT find even one wine worthy of purchasing. It is the only winery in the area where we did not buy even one bottle. :-( I tried hard to like something..... and I love good full bodied reds, but the two last ones on our tasting left our mouths completely puckered and "dry" with prematurely released (or poor quality?) wines, loaded with tannins. Yuk! Doused it all with crackers and water and left. We would not return based upon this experience. Sorry.

We brought a case of the Sweet Riesling, which was ~$200 for a case (12) and a bottle of the Syrah Forté for $28.50, so, it's not the price club. Then again, it is a small winery with a limited inventory.
This is a small local winery up in the hills behind Prosser, so it is a little bit of a drive up the hill, but you'll be treated to nice views of the valley.
The tasting room itself is rather small, but a number of Adirondack chairs outside to enjoy the view and wine.
If you buy a case you get a discount, which was not given as promised. We didn't notice until later, but when we were able to reach the owner, it was quickly rectified.

Kestrel Vintners Winery and Tasting room has 26 wines for you to choose from. Start with a wine tasting for only $5 for 5 wines. Tours of the Winery and Vineyard are available. Call ahead for scheduling.
After a dissapointing visit to the Hogue winery, we decided to try Kestrel, just up the street. What a contrast! The server was warm, extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic. She served us not only amazing wines, but captured our imaginations with her passion for great wines from a great winery. As we were to get on a plane to fly back to Michigan in a few days, we had pledged to buy no wine...we couldn't help ourselves after tasting the 2007 Estate Malbec, however. It is now in our kitchen awaiting the perfect evening with friends we love! Thank you!

Wit Cellars is a wine tasting room. We have a variety of red and white wines for tasting. There is a $5 tasting fee, refundable with purchase. Outdoor seating is available, overlooking the Prosser Wine and Food Park. Wines are available by the glass. Kid and dog friendly.
I received a bottle of the 2015 Wit Cellars Chardonnay as a gift from someone who visited the winery recently. While I was thrilled for the gift, I typically choose California Chardonnays over others.
I could not be more pleased with the Wit Cellars Chardonnay, both the flavor and body. I don't want to imply that Washington wines are inferior in any way to California wines, but I have my favorites, as most people do. Wit Cellars is now among them!
