Prizren (Albanian: Prizreni, Serbian: Призрен; pronounced [prîzrɛn]) is a city and municipality located in the Prizren District of Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the city of Prizren has 85,119 inhabitants, while the municipality has 177,781 inhabitants.

Kosovo is a country of geographical and cultural contrasts with a thousand years old diverse cultural heritage. There are nearly 11,000 km² and around 1.8 million inhabitants, a mixed population of which the majority are ethnic Albanians.

I visited all landmarks of the lovely city of Pristina while at the same time given insights on the cultural and historical aspects of Kosovo. As a first time visitor, all my questions on this place were thoroughly explained. Best way to explore Pristina and Kosovo. I’d recommend this tour to everyone.

After a 3 hour ride with our driver, we were elated to meet our actual tour guide and her young daughter. She was local to Prizren and was very knowledgeable about the history, religions, culture and traditional foods of the area. We had a delightful afternoon and we wished we had more time to see the museums and wander the streets. We shared traditional foods with our guide and her daughter.
We leave Durres at 08:00 AM in the morning by traveling to Prizren, Kosovo to learn more about the story of this old city.The history of Prizren dates to Ancient times, with the first mention of the city in the 2nd century AD. Since that time, the land has been claimed by many different kingdoms- including Romans, Bulgarians, Byzantines, Serbians and Ottomans. We travelled with a group of 7. Albania is such a beautiful country and Genci has an exceptional knowlede of all the beauty spots. Food was amazing - breakfast and lunch included (we mostly let Genci do the choosing :) ) and usually did not need dinner as lunch is the main meal. This tour and tour guide is highly reccomended - Genci was great, very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed!
