Sinistral Brewing Company is a family-owned, seven-barrel brewery in Historic Manassas. We're a gathering spot where the world slows down enough that you can catch up a little. Family-friendly, kids & dogs welcomed, outside food allowed.
Excellent brewery in old town Manassas. They do a great job of making many different beers and are very attentive unlike the monster brewery near by. The sour and Porter are excellent and many in our group enjoyed the fish taco IPA.

A UNIQUELY AMERICAN BREWERY ~ Established 2013 ~ We are a veteran owned and operated microbrewery in Manassas, VA. As veterans and patriots, we find that we owe it to our patrons to only produce the finest beer made with the best ingredients with the same level of attention to detail and passion that we brought to serving our country. 100% American sourced ingredients & Organic base malts 92% Locally sourced or Organic ingredients 1% Of every pint goes to charity ORGANIC & SUSTAINABLE It is worth the extra effort to pay a little more, make a little less and put a whole lot of elbow grease into things to make a better product. A better product that not only tastes great, but is also made in a responsible and sustainable way. We use 100% organic 2-Row in all of our beers and each of our beers is comprised of at least 90% organic ingredients. No genetic modification, no pesticides, no BS just great beer. REUSE, RECYCLE & REDUCE Elbow grease is an understatement to how we built our brewery. We spent hours on end thinking of ways for us to recycle, reuse and reduce our footprint. We started by making all of the furniture in the brewery out of shipping crates and pallets and continued with repurposing items to make our taproom. We may not have the capital just yet to have a ton of fancy energy recapturing devices, but we did create a way to recycle the water we use to chill out wort through a series of hoses so that the beer you drink was actually made from water that was used to chill our wort recapturing not only the water but also the heat reducing the energy it takes to heat our water. Think about it beer being made from making beer? WHY DOES THIS MATTER? We want to bring you the best beer while also making sure it is actually good for both you and the environment around you. So the next time you have a pint of Heritage be sure to stop and think about all that is going into the beer in front of you.
The regular beers on tap are very good and they are always rotating new brews. The staff is friendly and the space is very open and relaxed. On the weekends they normally have a bbq truck out front smoking up some great meats. We will definitely be back.

A fresh beer experience at two taprooms located in Prince William County, Virginia. Where water ends and beer begins, at your neighborhood taproom. No gimmicks, just good Damn Beer!
OK, so I'm not a real beer nerd, but i like my dark beers and they brew some good un's. But even so, it's not why i go there...or now have a "membership". I like going into a place to drink with people who aren't there to show off, start fights or get laid. I like the idea that Water's End has one of those "roadway" rugs and a box of toy cars and games for kids to play with if you want to stop in after shopping and have a quick foamy. I like it that you can bring in anything you want to eat (they do sell some pretty good chips, nuts and pretzels) and that the PAISANO's Pizza guys spends more time going thru the WATER'S END door than he does at Paisano's. I like it that the music is tasteful, isn't blasting and omnipresent. I especially like it that they have better toilet paper than I have at my own home. Yeah, the beer is pretty dern good. They usually have 6 beers on tap, from pale blondes to my dirty brown stouts, and change a couple of them every month. They serve a good, reasonably priced pour, served by friendly, polite peeps. During good weather, they block off the bank drive-thru after it closes and set out tables. They have special "game nights" and intimate live music sessions form time-to-time. Membership gets you larger pours, exclusive tasting parties, bag of goodies, growler deals, etc... Let's put it this way: My son was down from Boston for a week, and i took him there. He had such a good time, he bought ME a membership. There. Enuff said.

I’ve lived in this area for 20 years and after four visits now, Eavesdrop is now my favorite place to relax and drink some really good craft beer. They always have about 3-5 of their own beers on tap, but supplement with the best of other local establishments. I try something new every time and have yet to be disappointed. The ambience is also perfect. Outdoor seating at tables, many with umbrellas or tents to shield you from the sun, OR on their roof is plentiful AND private. There are plenty of group games to play too, such as Corn Hole. For cold weather, they have propane heaters spread around. Indoor seating is available but more limited. Service is always with a smile. Can’t decide? They’ll offer a sample or two. What more can you ask for?

We were in town visiting family and they had been here before and they loved it. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is open, outdoors, and similar to any beer garden. Lots of outdoor tables and umbrellas. There is a “satellite” bar outside and the nice thing is that if you order drinks there, you can start a tab there that will carry through to all of the other places to order. You can order BBQ only at the satellite bar. Indoor, there is large seating area to eat and enjoy the fare. Ordering can be done through a self serve kiosk or at an actual register with an employee. Service is fast and the food came out very quickly. There is a stage for music, etc. The music was loud enough to enjoy but not so loud that we had to shout to hear each other. Beer: I had several of the Citralicious. It was tasty and typical IPA. My wife had the Virginia Cream Ale. It was a bit sweet for me but still good in flavor and would be good for anyone not sure if they want a darker beer or an IPA. They also served spiked cider and hot chocolate. Food: we had nachos, sweet and sour brisket bites, and chicken ceasar salad. All were good with perfectly sized out portions. They are pet and kid friendly. Lots of people rode bikes there as well. I will definitely head there again if given the chance.
