The East Kentucky Science Center and Planetarium, located on the Prestonsburg campus of Big Sandy Community and Technical College has a 3000 square foot exhibit space, a 40 seat classroom, a gift shop, and a 40 foot domed planetarium, seating 85, that is one of the most technologically advanced planetariums in the United States. The Science Center, owned and operated by Big Sandy Community and Technical College, is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, with planetarium shows at 2:00 and laser shows at 3:15. On Saturday there is an added planetarium show at 12:30.

Nearly everything we carry is human grade. We also carry collars, leashes, toys for all ages, sizes and strength, tons of cat items, as well as Puppie Love Brand clothing and many other cool and unique products.

Lou's place for pets is a real blessing for this area. It is a one stop shop for all of your pet needs. The compassion that this business and its owners have for animals and the community is beyond compare. Anytime that my mom or I take our animals there we know that they are in safe hands with Sheena because she has dealt with animals of all types and has the knowledge and patience that it takes to handle the grooming and care of animals. My son loves to stop in to visit and pet some of the animals that she has on hand and we always feel welcome when we do. Give Lou's place a try you won't be disappointed!
