This area belongs to the Catholic seminar and seems almost ideal for this purpose. It is surrounded by city walls, having Gothic cathedral just in the middle. Pros: - tranquility of this place - quite unique interior of the cathedral, preserved in excellent condition - knowledgeable tourist guide ready to reply any question Cons: - not easy access - exterior of the cathedral which is far from finalizing of the reconstruction

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and saw how neatly and well kept the historic centre of Levoca is - also the fact that the centre seems surrounded by fields - at least that is the feeling you get when seeing it from the old town as it is located a little higher than the rest of Levoca. It really is a picturesque centre with the architecture of all building blending seemlessly with each other. Well worth a visit.
