This is another cascade pair you must see when you visit Lombok. Situated in Central Lombok regency, just a one and a half hour's drive from , The name Benang Setokel means a bundle of thread. This waterfall consists of two levels and each high as 20 meters. The water comes from a river upstream on Mount Rinjani. Lingsar temple as the biggest Shrine in Lombok Island exist since 1714 which built by Ketut Karangasem King Successor. This shrine is a federation between Hinduism and Islamic Wektu Telu. These guys are top notch. They picked us up from our cruise ship and took my family of 6 on a private tour. Bottled water and aircon van. 12 seater. First stop they got me a great rate in currency exchange with no commission. Then took us to Gili islands via private boat. All gear provided. Our guide was amazing. Spoke great English and even swam with our 8 year old to show him the submerged statues. Finally hE then found us a great place on the beach around Sengigi beach for lunch. I will be back for sure.

After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel and then drive to benang kelambu waterfall. Soft trekking to Benang Stokel while observing flora and wood. Two falls flowing from 30 meters high of Benang Stokel will amaze you. Spend some time here to relax and enjoy the panorama before proceeding to Benang Kelambu Waterfall. It is located about 30 minutes walking from Benang Setokel Waterfall. You will require a little extra energy to reach the fall as you trek up and down the trails, an adventurous journey, but the end destination is worth all the effort. The waterfall is truly special and unique, as it looks like a big spread out net, cast over the surrounding landscape. The waterfall is 40 meters high and flows irregularly over the caverns densely covered by indigenous herbs, flora and fauna. Back to hotel.

The people from Lombok Hideaway took us on a wonderfull trip to Southwest Lombok. First driving by a good car to Sekotong, where an authentic boat took us to a quiet bounty island Gilli Nangku. We snorkeld, saw beautifull fish and coral. Then up to Gilli Tangkong where a delicious lunch was prepared. After swimming at a georgious white beach we visited the smallest Gilli Kedis. And then back home to Gunung Sari where we started. Thank you so much Fredy and Roos! Everything was so well organised, that we had our day in Paradise! We were so happy with you, that we also asked you to organise our transportation on two more trips to Senaru and to Gilli Gede. We highly recommend you to everybody who wants to see more of Lombok!

Smaller than Anchor Wat but just as hard to understand how it was built. The steps are much larger than normal steps and no hand rails. It may be difficult if you are older like we are The heat was killing so that made it very hard to walk around. I would do this before Anchor Wat it was a bit of a disappointment,

As of February 2020 this tour operator not working. Our pickup time was not provided, so we tried contact operator. His phone is off, his whatsapp account was last active in beginning of January, and he doesn't respond to emails as well. As a result, he was no-show at the day of tour. It took us to make 4 long calls to Viator/Tripadvisor to get full refund (as this reservation is totally non-refundable). So either it is scam, or just operator stopped working.

We had one day to visit Gili islands to snorkel. It was a busy though thoroughly enjoyable day. We were picked up from our hotel at 6.30am, driven in a private car to the harbour about 90 mins away, escorted onto a 'fast boat' with others to the Gili Islands, picked up by Reza (our snorkelling guide), taken to another harbour 5 min away, and then taken on our own boat for private snorkelling trip that lasted about 3 and a half hours that covered all the snorkelling spots in the three Gili Islands. We then were escorted back to our hotel similarly and got back to the hotel at about 6.30pm. Hady co-ordinated the day tour and kept in touch all day by WhatsApp to ensure that we were at the right place at the right time. Reza (our snorkelling guide) was great - he took underwater photographs and videos which were sent to me via google drive the next day - he helped my wife when needed - speaks good English - is very pleasant - and gave us the most amazing snorkelling experience - including a swim with a sea turtle! A couple of tips - better to sit upstairs in the fast boat otherwise its quite hot, be prepared for a short scooter ride if you start from Lombok rather than Gili T

Lombok has highly interesting and unique natural spots like Tanjung Aan Beach, Merese Hill, The Gilis, or the crater lake of Segara Anak. Lombok is also rich in culture and its unique craft. There are also many beautiful waterfalls, especially around Mount Rinjani. In every part of the slope of Rinjani, you can find wonderful drops that mostly are not yet fully developed into a great tourist destination.
