In Vienna, the coffee house isn’t just a hangout: it’s an institution. Lingering over a newspaper with a pastry and a strong espresso drink is, according to UNESCO, officially a Viennese cultural pastime. Walk off your slice of Sachertorte with a self-guided tour of the city’s stunning traditional, Secessionist, and modern architecture, such as the Imperial Palace, the State Opera House, the Kirche am Steinhof, or the Kunsthistorisches Museum, an exercise in ornate geometry.

Royal Tours, founded by Mr. Johann Major already 40 years ago as a family enterprise in its true meaning and he has devoted himself to develop today's high standard. Royal Tours is now the leading organizer in Vienna of top-quality excursions to Prague, Budapest and Salzburg on a daily base. The small size of the busses assures the best possible and most individual service to the guest. Tours in and around Vienna can also be ordered. If wished, all the program can be arranged on talor made base. The driver-guides are well trained in languages (partly mothertongue!) and have a complex knowledge of the particular areas, which makes every tour a special event. The vehicles used to tour you around are most comfortable, carefully checked and serviced and offer the highest level of safety.

You can reach the stadium by metro quite easy, and even if the concert ended late in the night, the metro was available to return in the city. The setup of the concert was very well organized, even if we were not in the front row, we were able to see the artists on some big screens. The sound was excelent. A minus is that you cannot pay by card, so you need cash with you. There is an atm nearby in the shopping mall.

Vienna's landmark amusement park features the familiar 65-meter-high Giant Ferris Wheel that towers over the park's 200 booths, ghost train, go-karts, merry-go-rounds plus a Plantarium and the famous Schweizerhaus and many other great restaurants.
The Wurstelprater park is famous for its history as the oldest amusement park in the world. Also its one of the smallest but careful thought has gone into blending everything together so well that the rides are within meters of each other. A perennial favourite for kids and grownups, best enjoyed at evening, we spent many euros worth of thrills there, ending with the prater turm and the classic giant ferris wheel.
