Head Case Curios (HCC) concept was born in the year of our lord 2009 Based in the historic port of Portsmouth, Hampshire,England Buyers / Creators and sellers of the unusual & the unique, we travel the highways and byways, sail the seven seas and fly to faraway lands on magic carpets to discover new ideas for items to enhance your bare spaces. A Duke is an artisan who creates items that may be functional or purely decorative and sees treasures when others can’t see the full potential. Head Case Curios challenges the way we look at everyday things: why follow someone’s tastes, likes and dislikes when we are all individuals? This world is all about political correctness to the level of madness, so we help you escape the grey world that's defined as ‘normal’. Our service to you is Experiential Retail Therapy, now to be found within our Southsea shop. At Head Case Curios, we provide our loyal shoppers with a broad assortment of ever-changing inventory. #gifts #antiques #portsmouth
Been a few times with my son who loves curiosities. Everytime we go there's cool stuff to see and we've bought some good pieces too. All the COVID bits are up to date and the people there are awesome. Highly recommend

A proper old school antiques and collectables shop. There is quite a focus on militaria, maritime and vintage toys but we try to cover as many areas as possible as the whim takes us. We are always buying from the public too at mutually fair prices. A lot of our stock is listed online and you can see it from links on the website.
The most interesting antique shop - I could spend days in that shop and still not have seen enough. It has everything from furniture, art, jewellery, antique toys, books, medals, weapons through to postcards.

The Hotwalls Studios are 13 artists and designer-makers studios showcasing some of Portsmouth's brightest creative talent. Visitors will be able to watch artists and makers at work and purchase and commission professional pieces. Open hours of individual studios vary but there is the chance to see every Hotwalls Studios artist at work at our Open Studios every 3rd Sunday of each month.
I love Hotwalls - I first discovered it during Open Studios and have been back several times - it’s perfect for gifts - ceramics - bags - beautiful marbled silk scarves and other gorgeous items. All the artists are really friendly and happy to discuss their work. It’s my favourite place on the South Coast If you are into arts and crafts and are looking for something a bit different then it’s well worth a visit.

I really liked this place. It is a lovely combination of modern art and community engagement project right in the heart of Portsmouth’s outlet shopping centre (should you fancy doing a bit of shopping). Staff is nice and very friendly and the cafe serves lovely coffee.
