The full day was great in whole. The caves are beautiful-definitely a sight you should see. There were a lot of students on trips but it's fine because you get put into a group with your own language guide. Horses are breathtaking and the history is interesting I wish we went on a day where the horses were "working" meaning you could ride them. We went on a Monday so that is the resting day for the Lipica horses-they train and trot all other days. Despite that, we had a lovely tour of the farm and interacted with the horses in their stables and learned about these unique majestic creatures. Pick up and drop off was right on time - car was comfortable and our guide found a good place for us to have lunch before taking us back into Trieste

A day trip from our cruise with Celebrity Cruises. The trip was from Koper a short 90 mins away. The capital was very interesting to go round with our informative guide. The samples of wine and salted chocolate went down a treat. Will have to come back again in the future.

Istria is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea. Loved it! Velenje Underground is quite an unusual experience. Having a fancy dinner 160 m below surface, combined with some artistic performance / music is really something »out of the box«. The idea behind this project was to elevate tourism in Velenje to a higher level, namely to create a memorable, 5 star experience for turists. This goes hand in hand with the vision of the tourist destination Slovenia… Slovenia as a green boutique global destination for high-end visitors seeking diverse and active experiences, peace, and personal benefits. A destination of five-star experiences.

I went on this tour with Mia, Mikala and Niko in May. The tour was lovely. We went through and visited the major sites of the square. The guides explained the history and had additional folklore and tradition to share. We visited the salt shop and tasted salted chocolate. We walked/hiked all around the perimeter of the town and I was educated on the flora, fauna and industry of the region. The tour finale was an amazing food tasting of scallops, razor clams and other fresh seafood and local wine. Great tour, great tour company!
