The Pelion Peninsula (location for the movie 'mama-mia') is the mythical home to the Centaurs and unspoiled, undiscovered Greece at its best. Rising from the Aegean coast between Athens & Thessaloniki it is a designated ‘Natura 2000’ area of outstanding natural beauty with clean mountain air, ancient forest, and pristine blue waters. The length of the peninsula is scattered with old stone villages' set in mountain perches, charming fishing bays, and woodland hamlets. Before roads, the local cottage industries, from mills to textiles to local food production of these villages were connected by a network of paths. Forgotten with the advent of roads, they have been reopened in recent years by local guides & now form the basis of one of the best Hiking & Biking regions of Greece. It was a great tour to the classical hotsots of Greece. Due to Corona on all visited sites were only a few tourists what I never had before. The hotels were at nice places in walking distance to the city center, so that we could enjoy Greece evening life easily. Our driver did a great job and had always interesting stories about ancient history and modern Greece to tell during our journey - thank you for this experience Yanis!

We, two Dutch couples, one living in Greece and the other in Scotland, applied for the cooking class at Karaiskos farm. We're all avid cooks with international taste and already had fallen in love with the food in Kritsa taverna. The weather was great, the atmosphere warm and relaxed. We started with a cup of herb tea and then took out to pick our own veggies and herbs and take fresh eggs, still warm from the hen. As one of us has a gluten allergy, the menu was adjusted. We had great fun with Alexandros, Angela and Anna while learning new ways to do known things and learning new things about cooking. Everything was relaxed and in the meanwhile we cooked a lovely meal which we shared with our teachers. Our expectations were high ánd were met by the experience. Highly recommended!

Thanks for making our holiday so awesome!!
Volos is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece. The wealth of the region and its long history have left their mark on the city’s architecture, which exudes confidence and grandeur. The numerous mansions, municipal halls, museumσ, early 20th-century industrial facilities, and splendid churches make touring Volos truly enjoyable. Pelion is a place of indescribable beauty. With a breath-taking view over the endless sea, settlements that are architectural gems, and an ancient culture, it welcomes myriads of visitors every year. Lush vegetation and an extensive network of mountain paths enable the visitor to wander through a bewitching land, still echoing to the legendary Centaurs. It is worthy of note that the winding pathways linking the villages of Pelion exceed a total of 500 kilometres. Villages in Pelion, like Portaria, Tsangarada, Zagora, Vyzitsa, Milies, and dozens more, with their proud mansions, traditional springs, hospitable guesthouses, create a heaven on earth.

I went on the Astro Tour and it was a great experience! We were picked up at a nearby location and dropped off at the house of the guide, who was an astronomer. He had a very nice telescope ready for us to use and he showed us a lot of wonderful things that you can't see with the naked eye. The owner of Hello Thessaloniki, Solon, was there with us the whole time. He was really nice and very accommodating! He also gave us a lot of recommendations on where to go and what to do in the mainland of Greece. He seemed to be very knowledgeable about the area and all the wonderful things there is to see there. If I ever come back to the mainland of Greece, I know for sure who to call! Thanks Solon for the great experience! :)

My guide Vasile met me at the Acropolis metro stop, we headed to the Acropolis, and I was the only person that had signed up for a tour that day so it was a solo tour. We stopped at the Acropolis, Temple of Hephaestus, Greek Agora, Lycabettus Hill, the glass running man, and the Olympic Stadium in my half day tour. 100% worth it, got some great photos and better memories, and would happily suggest them again.
