Come calling at “Acacia Grove”, an elegant Georgian house in the picturesque Annapolis Valley. Here, horticulturalist Charles Prescott cultivated Nova Scotia’s apple industry from 1811 to 1859.

Annapolis Valley has many vineyards and visiting them is the most popular attraction in the area. Planters Ridge is a small but very personal vineyard. My wife and I had a tour and the tour lady was very friendly and knowledgeable. This spot has become one of our favorite in NS.

The best spot in the Annapolis Valley to watch the world's highest tides! See the Cornwallis River as it empties to expose the river bottom while enjoying a cold brew and some hot food on our taproom deck, or on our wharf. Experience the amazing tides, take a tour of the brewery, shop in our retail store for swag, growlers and canned beer, or sample our selection of brews. Make your trip to the Annapolis Valley a memorable one!
We originally came this way to go to Sea Level Brewing, but after realizing they dont do tastings in their store area, and waiting in their restaurant front hallway while people who worked there walked by various times with no regard for us, we came over to Wayfarer's. So glad we came here instead! We walked in and were immediately greeted by a friendly girl who asked us if we were there for the beer. When we said yes she gave us some tastings of a couple different beers and then we bought a flight. They have a really unique way of pairing candy with their beers, and we tried a cider with sour skittles dropped inside of it. So cool!! In our flight we had the Hellene, which was a German Blonde Ale. It was very smooth. We tried the Sassy Ginger and My Grandpa's Pilsner...which was a lightly bold and crisp beer that tasted really interesting. What a cool experience coming here. Too bad it was a dreary and overcast day, otherwise the view of the river out the large windows in the tasting room would have been that much more better.

Always love having the chance to stop by and pick up some of my favorite cheeses. They also make many other great products. Their cheese curds are always one of my favorites. They also make many tasty gelato ice cream flavors.

Sea Level Brewing Co. opened November 26th, 2007 as the first microbrewery in the Annapolis Valley and only one of 9 in Nova Scotia - now there are over 52. Attached to the brewery, we share accommodations and work in partnership with The Port Pub Bistro - where you can find all of our Sea Level beers on tap to sample. Come eat and drink with us overlooking the beautiful Annapolis Valley dykes and river on our wrap around deck connected to the brewery.
