South Africa's oldest operating coffee roastery, first opened in Port Elizabeth in 1924 by Ronald "Jock" Masterton. 95 years and three generations on, this family run business still serves the Port Elizabeth and greater Nelson Mandela Bay communities today, while also supplying coffee to top end grocers, retailers, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops and coffee loving individuals across South Africa. Now situated at 92 Main Road, Walmer in Port Elizabeth, the boutique coffee roastery is a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike. Be sure to pop in and enjoy an amazing flat white, Americano or just about any coffee drink you can imagine while your freshly roasted coffee beans are prepared for you to take home.

Micro Brewery offering exclusive beers for the adventurous and well informed beer drinker. Our range of products is vast and interesting, from craft sodas to 2 year old barrel aged sour beers. Our taproom is open daily during the week. Our factory shop stocks a good selection of our beers. We also stock memorabilia and gifts along with many beer related products that we produce in addition to beer. Our most famous beers are Bad Attitude - a highly hopped yet extremely well balanced American style IPA and Blood, Sweat & Tears - a black Belgian Saison that is brewed with sherry and raisins. Our tours range from a simple tasting of 45 minutes to an actual small batch brew and braai (BBQ) which lasts 5 hours. We will expose you to our more carefree and artistic way of brewing and introduce you to the great South African tradition of braaing. We prefer smaller groups, no more than 10, in order to provide personal attention a memorable experience. Booking is essential.

Hand in Hand Visual Art Studio's is an art studio with gallery space. Located in the Motherwell Township in the Nelson Mandela Metropolis owned by Sakhumzi and Msindisi Nyendwana. Enjoy a township walk before entering the Art Studio and Artist home of the Hand in Hand Brothers. Bring a snack or better arranged support a local vendor who will provide you with a local favorite snack. The Studio is currently converting for new collaborative business and your support brings us closer to our goal.
We so enjoyed our tour given by local artist and inspiration, Sakumzi. What he and his brother are doing in their community is inspiring...teaching the local youth about art through expression is something to see. They are making a difference and their art (which is for sale) is just as impressive.

This is a fantastic location to spend a day away from the rat race. The beach is nice and secluded with loads of rocky areas for the kids to climb. The water is clear and great for snorkeling and swimming
