We took the Atherton Tablelands Experience with Adam and it was one of the best, most informative trips of our holiday. We happened to book on the second boxing day this year and think people were doing other things as we had the vechile to ourselves which made the trip more special Adam is very socialble and knowledgable and took us to places not listed, we got to see all the waterfalls, some hilltop lookouts and more wildlife spotting along the way. Couldn't have asked for a better day.

A friend recommended this tour to us, & I will now be recommending it to all who travel to FNQ as a must-do. We went out with our boys aged 4 & 8 and although some parts were really out of their usual comfort zone, Juan was so engaging and quietly chugged them along. We had an incredible day & Juan has gifted us with stories we will share for the rest of our life.

Our driver Kim was entertaining and had lots of local knowledge. The river cruise was great where we saw a crocodile and some amazing species of birds. Really good coffee and house made scones for morning tea, then a fun 4WD through the rainforest to the waterfall. The fish and turtles come right up to the edge! Push yourself to get in the water too, it’s well worth it!

Great information about First Nation’s care and use of country, traditions and history of the area. Spotted a large crocodile in the surf (from well up the beach), saw a large cassowary on one of the walks and had a great lunch at Cape Trib. Our party of four went on the day long adventure with our tour guide Rob. We started off with the drive to Mossman Gorge to see the beauty and tranquility on show (plus the fairly large orb weaver spider outside the building .... not for the faint hearted). Then onto the river cruise on the Daintree to see a few crocodiles. After a couple of other stops we made it to our lunch time destination where we were served a good lunch for some hungry travellers. The 2nd last destination was up to Cape Tribulation. The beauty and serenity of this location must be enjoyed if you are in FNQ. Final destination was to Daintree Ice Cream for a very delicious tasting and then homeward bound. A great day with some incredible scenery, wildlife and locations. A special shout-out to our tour guide Rob who kept us informed all trip with historical tales, jokes and music ..... 5 stars to you ... you made the day ????????????????????. Don’t miss this part of Australia’s beauty if you can

Interesting small bus tour with plenty of time to stretch your legs. Experiencing the rainforest in the wet seemed to make it 'come alive' for me. Our guide, Randall, was knowledgeable, informative, observant and appeared passionate about his job. His talks were interesting & he pointed out some creatures that we wouldn't have noticed on our own. He was also able to direct a laser light, without disturbing the creature, when they were hard to spot. The Daintree river cruise was exciting, our Captain found a number of crocodiles for us to observe in their natural habitat. His knowledge of the surrounds was impressive and he passed this on in an interesting way. We passed a few other bus loads of Tony's Tours and I noticed that the guides would inform their colleagues of anything interesting that they'd spotted. We've seen some of the territory we covered on this tour before without a guide and it made us appreciate how much we'd missed previously.
