Cape St. George is located on the French Ancestors Route, Route 460 which provides stunning scenery from Kippens to the Cape. It features a Visitor Centre and is the location for Boutte du Cap Park. The park is easy to miss so you need to keep an open eye after you pass Cape St. George but it is worth the time to stop. The park includes an Acadian Memorial and Bread Oven, and provides a good place to relax and have a picnic. Cape St. George will be appreciated by those who have an interest in history and local culture and by those who like scenic harbor views and photography. It is a recommended stop for anyone driving the French Ancestors Route.
