Excellent wines and cheeses and a very friendly staff. They kindly introduced us to the different wine regions in Portugal as well as the wide variety of Portuguese cheese and cold meats that best combine with the different wines. We had such a lovely evening there and are looking forward to visit this awesome place again!

In a quiet corner next to the castle lie these remarkable structures in a group of 50 plus. Seemingly still In use they house corn on the cob & are a throwback to times gone by. We were there midday on a Thursday in July and were pretty much alone walking among them. Definitely worth the trip.
