Awesome views and a real sense of achievement at the top. I went with my 2 daughters aged 5 and 6. I wouldn't recommend this climb for young kids unless they are sensible, follow instructions and have experience with steep, challenging climbs. You really need to keep your kids very close once the steep climbing towards the top begins. If you can compare to other local mountain treks with kids, with Mt Tinbeerwah a 1 out of 10 for difficulty, Mt Ngungun a 3, Mt Coolum a 4, then this would be around 7 or 8 out of 10... but so worth it! Whenever we drive past it conjures up fantastic memories.

The Majestic Theatre Pomona is a place i will always like to go back to. The feeling of being in the 1920's hits you as soon as you walk in the doors. The silent movies are a must see. They are held every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month at 12 noon. There is nowhere else in Australia that you can see a silent movie. The piano player Ron West, is out of this world. At 85 years of age he is going stronger than ever. You can see and hear his passion. I had a good old belly laugh watching a Buster and Keaton movie. I have also attended a number of shows - the latest being 'A Vaudeville Affair'. It was a part of the Noosa Alive event. It was spectacular, can't wait for its return. There was talk of the show performing at the Majestic once a month. Good job to all the volunteers. Would not have this theatre without you!!! Well i will definitely be returning.

Great museum to visit. Well worth the trip. You’ll get to experience a little of what life was like from the 1860’s to now including the history of the pope Noosa Shire and Pomona.

Our volunteer-run gallery supports local artists to showcase their works for sale in heritage railway buildings in a cottage garden setting. There are regularly changing exhibitions with 2D and 3D artworks on display. The gallery also hosts a tourist information centre with maps and brochures available.
