This Catholic Church has been a parish in Lake Harmony for a little over 25 years.Prior to that it had been a mission church of the Allentown Diocese and masses said there every weekend by the priests of Immaculate Conception,in Jim Thorpe,PA.Before that the pastor from Jim Thorpe came up the mountain usually on his motorcycle to say Mass for the people who lived in the area as well as many of the vacationers who visited the many sites that they rented.During that period, mass was said at Split Rock Lodge and the attendance was huge.As the area grew, the Bishop realized a permanent house of worship was needed and so due to the generous bequest of an Immaculate Conception parishioner this Church was built.I have been a member of this parish since it was built and truly honored to be a member.

We happen to be ‘Church hoppers.’ The service was nice, and the parishioners were very friendly. We felt welcome.
