We had a marvelous time on this tour with Lachezar Gudev as our guide. He guided us through a personal route on the mountain right to Kemendall viewpoint in witch he took our sense for adventure, our fysical condition and our disabilities into account. This way he made the road to the viewpoint at least even interesting as the viewpoint itself, which is really something you can not miss when you visit Sofia. We also learned much about Bulgarian daily life and the bulgarian filmindustry from our guide that also seemed to know a lot about other touristic places in Bulgary. In short we couldn't be in better hands during this trip that was a great succes with many thanks to this wonderfull man. We advise this tour to anyone who wants to discover Sofia and likes to be in the nature as well, as we also would advise you to turn to Lachezar Gudev if you want a good guide or some good tips for a trip in Bulgary

After a harrowing experience on the train from Sofia to Plovdiv, my husband and I decided to take private transportation to avoid being in a crowd of unmasked travelers on our return to Sofia. We were lucky enough to book a shuttle that included a tour of two wineries and lunch, and to be the only two customers on the tour! Vasil was our driver and tour guide. He and his wife are co-founders of Bulgarian Wine Tours, a family-run business that specializes in full and multi-day wine and cultural trips throughout Bulgaria. Vasil is a very knowledgeable wine enthusiast himself, teaching my husband and I a great deal about wine-tasting, the history of Bulgaria's wine regions, the wineries we visited on our tour, as well as Bulgarian culture and history. We are looking forward to our next break or when we have visitors come to town, so we can use Vasil's services again. If you are looking for a day or multi-day wine tour company, we highly recommend looking into Bulgarian Wine Tours. Thank you Vasil, for an amazing day in the Western Thracian Wine Region!

My idea was to have a day trip from the Romanian capital in Bulgaria and if I like it to stay and explore more. I loved Ruse and Veliko Tarnovo and actually did not go back to Bucharest at the end of the tour. Those 2 cities truly fascinated me and I wanted more off-the-beaten path of Bulgaria. I recommend you this tour as fantastic is not enough to express it!
