About us We are a premium Watersports School in Gran Canaria. With over 14 years in the business of training and touring the Island with surfing enthusiasts, there’s no other surf school around matches our experience or professionalism. Our practice through the years has seen us rack over 75,000 hours of outdoor fun under our belt. We embrace clients of diverse nationalities and we have successfully trained clients from more than 21 different countries across virtually every continent in the world. Our admirable exploits haven’t gone unnoticed by our local community and we have the seal of quality of companies of aquatic sports activities of Tourism of the Government of Canary Islands to show for it. We pride on hiring only the finest instructors in the industry and they are all duly certified by the International Federations of the sport they specialize in.

The Center was founded in 1972 under the name Diving Center Nautico on the Playa de Meloneras and is therefore the oldest diving school in Gran Canaria. For decades, the diving school was located in a hotel in San Agustín. Since April 2019, the installations of Nautico can now be found on the former site of the diving school Dive Academie Gran Canaria. After the merger, the new name "Nautico Dive Academy" was born. Our second local you can find in the middle of Playa del Inglés. In addition to our friendly office and simultaneous training room you will find our OWN POOL directly in front of the base. The spacious outdoor area offers enough space for all other installations such as drying room, WC and our washing area for cleaning and drying your equipment. Free parking for our guests who come with a rental car, located in the immediate vicinity. Our training lessons and introductory dives start in our own pool with depths up to 200cm.

We are an official surf school in the south of Gran Canaria. With the headquarters and classroom at the foot of the sand dunes of Maspalomas, we offer high-quality surf classes – from a one-day-experience for beginners to intermediate/advanced classed. Thanks to being mobile, we choose every day the best beach for learning depending on the conditions – great waves, fun and safe tuition at non-touristy, uncrowded beaches all around the island!
