Starting from Athens, we will drive westwards along the beautiful scenic coastal road, until we finally reach the Corinth Canal. We will make a small stop at Corinth Canal and then in about 15 minutes, we will drive through the picturesque local villages to reach the Ancient Corinth. There we will visit the Agora, the Doric Temple of Apollo (6th century BC). You will also visit the pontium where St. Paul preached. Afterwards we will continue our trip through some beautiful villages to Mycenae, where you will visit the archaeological site, the Cyclopean Walls, the Treasure of Atreus (the beehive tomb of Agamemnon) and the Lions Gate. Then we will continue through the city of Argos to Nafplion (one of the most beautiful byzantine cities in Greece!), the first capital of the modern Greek state, with its Venetian fortress of Palamidi and the fortified islet of Bourtzi. There we can stop for lunch and then continue to Epidaurus. Finally, we will return back to Athens.

**** TRAVELERS BEWARE******** My wife and I are frequent travelers and never have I dealt with a company so corrupt. Last year for obvious reasons (covid-19)they canceled our tour. This is not the issue, the issue was in their own words they would refund us but we would have to wait until January 2021. We did that, when I reached back out to them to inquire about the refund that they said they would process they never replied. I tried multiple times to get ahold of them. Only when I explained that I was going to write reviews and contact my banking institutions as well as the Greek Better Business authorities did the email back, saying they were sorry and that they were waiting on their bank to process the funds. That was at the end of January 2021. Weeks went by and I sent multiple emails again with zero response. So I stated that I was going to proceed with the earlier plans. Boom they emailed back saying sorry but their bank was still processing it?? Zero confirmation numbers which I asked for. Weeks went by again. No response. So I'm urging travelers to not book with a shady company that can't even hold up their end of a deal. You have many choices for tour companies in Greece, I would choose otherwise.

We were on a 7 day Med cruise from Athens, but wanted to spend more time in Greece after the cruise. Aphrodite arranged the hotels and rental cars along with some great travel advice. Great trip, rental car was delivered to the hotel and dropped at the airport hotel, never easier. Saw all the key sites especially the one you don't want to miss, Meteora.

Our flight was delayed two hours so we were very relieved to see our driver waiting in the arrival hall with our name on a sign and a big smile even though he had been waiting for us. We were a bit tired but he chatted about Athens and made a point to show us on the map where we were going and point out some sights. We felt very safe in our yellow taxi and were pleased to have prebooked.

In our tours you will see much more than any other tour, places that most conventional tourists never visit. Only a few drivers and locals like us can get you there. During the tour, you will learn about the sites, history, mythology and our culture. Tours are private at your own pace, where our customer is "always the Boss". Our Goal is to make you feel as close to a "Greek" as possible during your limited stay and love Athens and Greece. Delphi was inhabited since the Mycenaean times (14th – 11th century B.C.) by small settlements who were dedicated to the Mother Earth. The worship of Apollo as the god of light, harmony, and order was established between the 11th and 9th century B.C. Slowly over the next five centuries, the sanctuary grew in size and importance. During the 8th century B.C. Delphi became internationally known for the Oracular powers of Pythia, the priestess who sat on a tripod, inhaled ethylene gasses, and muttered incomprehensible words that foretold the future.

There is only one way to describe our trip - FANTASTIC. Pick up form our hotel was timely and we were kept informed throughout about what we would see an timing. It is all due to the the guide, Markos Vasalos, a highly educated professional whose family has been in the tourism industry for years and who is very knowledgeable about the area and Greece as a whole. He shared the history and customs with us even of out of the way spots we could see form the road but not visit. We went places on the spur of the moment which deviated slightly from the planned itinerary, seeing far more than was described. What were described and we visited as highlights - Theater at Epidaurus, the ruins of Corinth, the Corinth Canal, and Mycenae were the main foci and are well worth the trip. However, a visit to (for a late lunch) and sauntering around Navplion an Aegean seaside city on the other side of the Peninsula from Corinth, with its floating Venetian Fortress surrounded by yachts, was an unexpected treat, especially when accompanied by Markos' town history lesson. If you make this trip (and you should) you would be missing out hugely by not asking specifically for Markos or "his" people. We use guides on more than 8 occasions in Greece. I cannot more strongly recommend any tour than this one with Markos. It makes all the difference in the world for long day which is well worth it even in 98* heat.

Have you ever thought that Piraeus is much more than only a busy harbor with lots of ferries? Actually, it’s a city itself, and a convenient seaside escape from downtown Athens! So let’s wander around the diverse neighborhoods and ambiances of Piraeus, from the busy harbor, the central market, to the neoclassical buildings of downtown area, tranquil streets dominating the Athens Riviera and the two laid-back marinas with sailboats. You will discover most of the sights of Piraeus as well as residential areas to feel the city! Please, note that the end of the walk is a different place from the meeting point, for you to be able to enjoy the seaside walk, where you can find a few tavernas and cafés. To go back to the metro station, you can either take a bus or a taxi. Also take into consideration that the whole experience as it is described is approximately 6km walk, including some steep streets.

Clément made us see an area of Athens we would have never visited without his kind recommendation. We gladly discovered that there is far more to Athens than the Acropolis. There's also a part of the city that is not about monuments but rather people and ideas. Clément knows his way perfectly in this maze. He made us see the street art that is characteristic of that area, always knowing the story behind it. Well aware of Greece's modern history and recent political events, he shows a light on contemporary Greece during the visit that I doubt anyone can find elsewhere, in any books or movies. I fully recommend such an experience as it gives a dimension of its own to a visit of Athens. Thank you Clément for decrypting the codes of Exarchia and opening the gates of contemporary Greece. All the best!
