Designed by Robert Trent Jones SR, has always been considered one of his most successful courses in Europe. Spread over an uncontaminated area of 100 hectares of forest and lakes, the tree nine-hole courses appear as links in front of the majestic Clubhouse, creating a unique and beautiful landscape. The 7th hole on the Pine tree course, called "The Island", has always been considered one of the most impressive holes in Europe. A four star Hotel with annex swimming pool and tennis court, a restaurant with terrace and a bar, complete the offer of this elegant and enchanting Italian Golf Club.
A brief summary as follows: Wonderfully attentive staff, superb food, great rooms and....lovely golf courses. Went as 2 couples, both ladies being relative beginners and on first ‘Golf tour’. The hotel and golf courses whilst co-located are run separately. Not that it mattered once you’d realised to deal with each separately. Thoroughly recommend! Look to return for longer as lots to do other than golf in the area and very beautiful. The hotel/club house in June is smothered in sweet smelling jasmine, quite outstanding scent everywhere.

I had the chance to go visit some friends there last month for three days. The staff, from the Caddy Masters to the Front Desk, were quite welcoming trying to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I really appreciated the efforts, especially as I do not speak a word of Italian! I will remember fondly the family atmosphere, professionalism and of course.. food!

This is actually a full vacation retreat for golfers, although non-golfers will enjoy the spa and other facilities. There are two golf courses on the grounds, both are worth playing. The hotel is on the spartan health retreat side but very clean and well staffed. We had a stay plan that included breakfast and golf to which we added a visit to the spa for massages and a dinner in the excellent restaurant. Highly recommended for golfers.
