We were visiting Anaconda and made a quick run to Philipsburg. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend. The drive there, the candy shop, and mining experiences were so fun especially for kids of any age. A must!

Sapphire Gallery

What a delightful experience! We went through a couple of bags of dirt looking for sapphires, which were then appraised.....but then Ashley and Holly took the sapphires that we had found at a different location and also appraised them, giving us great advice regarding heat treating, leaving natural, and cutting. They do both the heat treatment and the cutting in the local area rather than sending the stones overseas.....so the process is much faster. We left 101 stones with them for heat treatment, and were so very impressed with their fabulous customer service, interest in our stories, and professionalism. This was a lovely “high class” operation that we will definitely revisit and recommend to others!

Boy was this a surprise. New age micro brewery in an old historic building in smallest town possible. The town closes a side street so they can set up tables outside. Have to visit here if you like beer and good music.

Granite Ghost Town State Park

Reviewed By emilypI3930ZP - Philadelphia, United States

This was a neat old ghost town to explore, especially going up to the stamp and being able to wonder around. However, it can be a bit confusing if you're following google maps. If you do not have a 4WD, then make sure you take a right on Granite Rd. You'll see the Granite Ghost Town in very small letters underneath the road sign name. Many of the signs in the town were worn down and hard to read. I wish they all could be re-done.
