A welcoming art gallery selling contemporary art. Abstract landscapes, wood engravings and other prints, ceramics. Paintings generally £600 - £5,000. Original prints from £60. All relevant Covid-19 safety measures are in place.
Having been to visit Petworth House and Park, we decided to explore the town. Off-street parking is easy but only for an hour, so you have to be smartish. Lombard Street is a pleasant pedestrianised street, contrasting with other streets around which are traffic-congested and Kevin House is one of several art, design and antique galleries to be explored in Petworth, with a good range of artists and variety of work. Don't miss it!!

Boutique art gallery in the heart of Petworth displaying a wide variety of local and international original artwork, limited edition prints and sculpture.
We had been visiting Petworth House and Park and decided to explore the town, which we are glad that we did. It is a treasure trove of outlets selling antiques, art and designer items, from the top exclusive end to the more popular lower price range. Off street parking is available for an hour, so you have to be quick exploring the different shops, but we had no problem finding parking. Forest Gallery is on the pedestrianised Lombard Street which runs from Market Square up to the Parish Church and has an excellent range of artists in a variety of media, with an enticing shop window, at prices to suit all budgets. Well worth exploring...

Over 3 floors and 5 rooms in a 17th Century building, comfortable button back chairs are draped in soft natural sheepskins and textured velvet or linen cushions. The stone and brick walls are covered with a mixture of clocks, mirrors and wall art. Everything you see is available to take home except Wilfred the border terrier and the staff are always very happy to help.
I was amazed upon entering this shop as there are several floors, absolutely jam-packed with stylishly arranged homeware and gorgeous furniture. From candles and kitchenware to ornaments and lamps, throws, faux sheepskin rugs and beautiful armchairs, in addition to bedroom and kitchen furniture! Found the perfect country kitchen dresser and have received many compliments as it is striking. Very friendly and welcoming people. Can't wait for my next visit!

Petworth is a centre for antique, design and art shops - a great place to explore and shop after you have visited Petworth House. The best place for parking is in Market Square. The antique shops cover all tastes and all budgets; the market here is at the more popular and affordable end, with a wide variety of stalls to explore. Covid-19 precautions were well-managed with one entrance and a different exit, lots of hand sanitiser and a car park available to pick up your heavier purchase. Well done!
