I love this pub. My mate lives in Petersfield and we pay it a visit just about every time I visit. Every time I go in I love it a little bit more. We sat in the bar last night and the locals and their dogs made us feel really welcome and invited us to join in with their conversation. The landlord pulled a great pint, in my favourite keg shaped pint pot and the conversation was lively and the laughter genuine. We arrived at 18.00 and expected to leave at 19.30 to get home to watch the football but enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed until 21.00 when the pub closed. I cannot imagine going to Petersfield and not popping into this absolute gem. Just remember to bring your cash. It won't be for everyone but it does just fine by me.

Christmas Day Lunch As always, an excellent meal. Great locations, all socially distanced tables, wonderful staff and an very good meal. My wife has not stopped raving over the lamb dish and the accompany dressing and I was extremely happy with the traditional Christmas menu. The staff make you welcome, the venue is great and the food excellent. Well done Colin et al !!

St Peter's Church and Petersfield Town Square form the centre of the lovely market town of Petersfield. The church is open daily and there are plenty of places around to the main town Square to eat and shop.

Petersfield Museum follows the social history of Petersfield and the surrounding villages from the Stone Age right up to the present day. The collection consists of objects, photographs, oral history recordings, books, maps and historical documents. The museum is currently closed for a major Heritage Lottery funded redevelopment project which aims to turn the museum into the cultural center of Hampshire's South Downs. We will be at the heart of local life as well as provide an engaging and interesting attraction for all visitors from near and far and of all ages..
The town of Petersfield is a lovely place to visit and this little museum is recently built in the old Police Station / Courthouse of this wonderful market town. Best to park in the main Tesco car park and walk in (2 min). Well worth an hour.
