We are a family operated organic dairy and poultry farm. In addition we have an organic pumpkin patch that is open Saturday & Sunday's from the last weekend of September through October. During this time we offer lots of free hands on activities, in addition to guided farm tours where a favorite is Milking A Cow By Hand.

A great tour of this gem. A bounty of queijo to bring home. Clean facilities and great staff. I loved the aging room, shelves of cheese varieties.

A selection of tasting options are available, and guests can choose to sit outside, soaking in the spectacular views, or inside at our comfortable tasting bar. Workshops and other seasonal events that highlight the diversity and abundance of the ranch are available throughout the year. The McEvoy Ranch Social Club is the best way to enjoy the bounty of the Ranch with three shipments a year and discounts on all products.
We had lunch, wine and olive oil tasting on a Friday afternoon the view was so lovely in the valley enjoying the olive trees. Truly the best olive oil I've ever had anywhere in the world! The lavash sandwiches they offered were quite amazing too ... dipped in their olive oil! I've always been a fan of their products so coming out to the ranch was a bit of excuse to also do a bit of shopping too! We got olive oil and bath products. I love McEvoy Ranch and next time in Petaluma, we'll be there for sure!

WOW! This is the longest operating cheese company in America, making traditional & original cheeses since 1865. They happily offer free & delicious samples while educating visitors at the same time. Opens daily at 11am with a lovely pond and free picnic area (with any purchase). We were surprised to find many half price cheeses & pastries, with different ones offered daily. Be sure to schedule time to stop in & pick up some delicious goods on your way out to Point Reyes National Seashore; as it's on the same route. You'll be glad you did!
