This picturesque Umbrian city has a history that spans many eras. The city wall and arch are Etruscan; the sixth-century Sant'Angelo church was built atop a Roman temple; the town's cathedral is both Gothic and Renaissance. If you have a sweet tooth, visit the famous Perugina chocolate factory; if you have a full set of sweet teeth, visit during the Eurochocolate festival, held in October, when the entire town reportedly smells of chocolate.

We are visiting and staying in Italy for an extended period. One of the things we wanted to do was cooking lessons on local Umbrian meals. Tita & Noni were recommended to us. I must say I had the most enjoyable and fun filled home cooking class. The recipes were simple and easy. The tips and tricks are priceless! Something that I can cook up at home with ingredients that are easily available back in Canada! The end results were delicious (I have attached some photos) ... and we cooked it ourselves! I will absolutely recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who are looking for a cooking class while in the Umbrian region.
