Perched on the banks of the wide Swan River, between the Indian Ocean and the sands of the Nullarbor Desert, Perth is one of the world's most isolated cities, yet still boasts an active beach scene and smokin’ nightlife. Family-friendly Cottesloe is brimming with swimmers, surfers and snorkelers. Head north to Scarborough for a spirited beachside club scene. Coo at cute marsupials on ferry-accessible Rottnest Island, and don’t miss the views from King's Park and Botanic Gardens.

Did the 2 for 1 offer on the entertainment book to see Rocketman. Great cinema, loved the recliners and the fact that you can get alcohol into a standard screening. Better than your average movie house.

Perth's favourite outdoor cinema is open for the 2020/2021 summer season! Rooftop Movies offers a truly unique cinema experience with panoramic city views for sunset drinks and eats before you settle in for your movie. Our world famous cinema is the perfect spot to enjoy the best flicks and spectacular city sunset views with a cold beer in hand. Pedestrian access is off James Street opposite the Piazza Screen. Automobile access to the car park is off Roe Street. Fresh pizza by our friends at Mac Daddy's, popcorn, candy and drinks are available from the rooftop bar.
I have wanted to see a movie here since early 2019, but the Dates and Movie choice did not match my work schedule, but finally they all came together. I wanted to surprise my partner who had no idea where we were going. When we arrived and were greeted by the friendliest security guard and ticket person I have met in the city the night was starting off well. Our Friend was waiting for us and had picked Bean Bags in the middle so we had a good view of the screen. The website advises you get there early, so we got to watch the Sunset over the city while waiting for the movie to start. I was concerned about the Bean Bags but they were comfortable and you can prop them up. The only negative that I could say was the $9 small glass of Wine, I do realize they need to make money so this wonderful place can exist but also to keep people getting too intoxicated and ruining other people's night. It is Not BYO alcohol but you are welcome to take your own food, they do have a Pizza Place there which seemed popular. I will definitely be back when the next season starts at the end of the year.

From the people that bring you the FRINGE WORLD Festival, Girls School Cinema is a boutique winter cinema experience that’s housed in a stunning castle-like building and is one of Perth's hidden gems. Girls School Cinema is more than just the movies, it’s the place to experience winter warmer entertainments with tasty treats, places to meet and good times.

Moonlight Cinema is Australia’s favourite and largest outdoor cinema. Watch advance screenings, summer blockbusters and cult classics under the stars in Australia’s most iconic inner-city green spaces all summer long. For session times and movies showing, see the Moonlight Cinema website
My group of four went last night to Moonlight Cinemas to see Ryan Gosling’s “First Man”. The set-up was excellent. Make sure you pay $9 to hire a bean bag, they were really comfortable. No hot food is available so bring your own if you want. Candy bar food is available. Sound quality and the screen are excellent. I would suggest bring some fly spray because you will be eaten. I really enjoyed the movie but had seen it before, so I more enjoyed on a clear night stargazing with the abundant stars in the clear night sky. All in, a great experience...
