A full day (8 hours) tour, starting with a visit by driving over Penang bridge to Orangutan Sanctuary Island on mainland Peninsular Malaysia to see some 17 Orangutan up close and personal. Get to know them by names - BJ, Adam, Hiroshi, Manu and others. We, the human, are being enclosed, not the orangutan. Alpha may weigh up to 300 kilogram, so be careful, they have the strength up to 7 adults! They shared some 97% of human's DNA; no wonder they are fun to watch. Upon returning to Penang Island, the afternoon is flexible itinerary. Among others you can visit a wet market to see unique produce and sample some exotic and fusion local foods. Visit a temple with poisonous snakes or enjoy street arts, Clan jetty, Clan-house, a Captain's house, George Town's World Unesco Heritage enclave or Thai temple. Ideal to have a romantic dinner. Food was good, not wow, but a 4/5. The views were amazing and so the atmosphere. There is a professional photographer offering nice shots with the KLCC twin towers on the background. It's a little pricey but not too much. Definitely enjoyed the experience.

Great day started with a fantastic driver Dhevan. Extremely informative and went out of his way to discuss area. Also gave us time for ourselves as we toured around Melaka. Dhevan pointed out other sites of interest around the area. I recommend a visit here. Being collected and dropped off at our hotel was fantastic. We were so impressed we used Dhevan to transport to the airport the following day.

Taking the Northbound Expressway, the nature and charm of greens such as the palm trees, rubber trees and the mountain landscape at the far end brings much relieve to all Nature Lovers. An encounter with the “Man of the Forest” at the rehabilitation and conservation centre is simply a great joy to understand their talents and cheeky faces. Centrally located between Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, the capital city of Perak was once the black gold mine in the country and home of James Bond girl and home of All England Champions is also a state of many first achievements. The architecture of the colonial buildings during the hey days of the British Administration tells the presence of its colonial masters. Perak has all to offer, from its ivory shores to the wonderful dishes such as the Ipoh chicken rice, bean sprout etc, the state is also famous in its produce such as guavas, pomeloes, rambutans, durians(the king of fruits), mangoes, groundnuts, rubber, latex, palm oil, marble granite etc
