PET (Tietê Ecological Park) has an area of 14 million m²: PET was inaugurated on 03/14/1982. The initiative was created with the objective of preserving the Tietê river and some of its floodplains, as well as providing a leisure area for the population of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo.
