The diminutive Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, a dramatic area of 225 square miles in southwest Wales, was set aside as a national park in 1952 and comprises a large portion of the Pembrokeshire coast and its islands and the moorland hills of Mynydd Preseli. Rugged cliffs and coastal rock formations are home to boisterous populations of seabirds, porpoises, whales, seals and dolphins. Cycle, hike or sea kayak around the spectacular coastline. Bird watching and rock climbing are also popular.

If you are looking for a fun and educational family day out in Wales then there is nowhere better than Folly Farm! With a zoo, farm, fairground and indoor and outdoor adventure play you'll leave understanding why it has twice been voted 'Best Family Day Out in Pembrokeshire and Wales'.
As far as days out with kids in the UK go this is one of the best. There were giraffes, zebras, penguins and camels that you could get up close to, and Hugo the lion is stunning. He even gave us our money’s worth when he fancied getting it on with the lioness :-D There is a petting farm indoors and a vintage funfair also indoors with many rides for all ages (great if the weather is poor) There are a few rides outside too including a twister and big wheel and also some go carts. We were there from opening to closing and were never bored once. There’s a big pirate ship to play in with an outdoor play area too. My son loved the huge sand area with the sit on diggers too. There really is so much to do and everything looked clean and well maintained. Even paying for the rides (token system) on top of the entry fee, I’d still say it was well worth the money considering what you get for your money. It was less than a third of the price we paid to get in to Legoland and value for money can’t be compared. We did so much more at Folly Farm as you don’t spend the whole day in a queue (even in the summer holidays) and it never felt overcrowded as it’s so spaced out, so a far more enjoyable fun day out. Can’t fault it.

Advanced booking is required - email us now to reserve your llama! Pembrokeshire Llamas trekking centre provides guided llama walks and trekking expeditions throughout the year. Lead one of our haltered llamas on a guided tour through the valley of Rhydwilym.
Our visit to the Pembrokeshire llamas was absolutely fantastic and I just wish I lived closer to be able to enjoy this activity more regularly. After a welcome from our wonderful host Matt and guidance on how to handle your llama you are lead off for a beautiful walk in the wooded valley. There is something unique to leading your own llama. They are delightful with their own individual personalities. I had the pleasure of walking with Max, who with his presence I did not notice any elevated parts of the walk that I normally dislike. My partner was with Merlin who he really enjoyed the trek with. You will come away with a lasting memory, feeling stress free, happy and wanting to go again. Full advise is given re clothing and foot wear prior to your visit.

Wales’ only dedicated Shire Horse Farm visitor attraction based between the Preseli Hills and the Coast of North Pembrokeshire and Newport Bay. We are proud that our family has farmed the land here for 8 generations since 1849. Our family first opened the farm to the public in 1992, to help us to preserve the Dyfed Shire bloodline in memory of our grandfather John Rees Lewis who started the bloodline. The birthplace of Celt aka Major Mercury Drum Horse of the Queen's Household Cavalry.
Arrived in time for lunch - simple and affordable with quick service. The farmyard was real and not over commercial at all. Loved the nature walk along the Green Lane. The story told by the grandson on the back of the tractor/trailer trip was perfect. He was really enthusiastic about his family farm and we will visit again.

Nestled in the gently undulating Preseli Hills of North Pembrokeshire is the tiny hamlet of Rosebush. In which lies the family-run farm of ‘Pant Mawr’. With breathtaking views over the mountains across the farmland of West Wales, towards the far tip of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the Cheese making at Pant Mawr Farm was established in 1985. David Cynthia and Jason now apply their self-taught skills to producing cheese, using milk from local farms they have developed a range of superb cheeses which they sell in the Pant Mawr Farm Shop. {There is no tour of the cheese making process}From cow’s milk they make the mild, creamy Caws Cerwyn, with natural oak smoked and long matured varieties, the Brie-like Caws Preseli and the Mead-washed Drewi Sant. Goats milk is the basis of Caws Y Graig ( also a smoked Variety) and a soft curd cheese. The area round the farm is ideal for walking and touring, and at the farm shop visitors can buy the perfect souvenir of their stay in this lovely part of the world.. Those who can’t get to the farm can browse the website and order by phone or online using a speedy courier delivery service. You can order cheese for every day consumption or special occasions, in any quantity, in bags or bespoke Hampers or platters. We supply all our cheeses to Deli’s, Hotels, Restaurants and small Shops throughout Wales by weekly delivery and further afield by Courier.
Called here after giggle searching things to do in and around Tenby. Took us about an hour . Went in a miserable rainy day. Nice lady who gave us a taste of all the cheeses they produced . We ended up spending just under £20 in 2 cheeses, a set of 3 mini mustards, welsh honey and lime marmalade. Only 2 allowed in due to Covid restrictions. We loved it. If visiting also nip to Tafarn Sinc pub it’s a few minutes away. Worth the effort to get here.

A warm welcome to all at our working family farm in a picturesque Pembrokeshire valley. Enjoy yourselves on the big adventure castle, slides, swings, pedal go-karts, tractors and chat to the animals in the large play area. Follow the adventure trails and meet the giants, find the bears and escape the spooks. Try your hand on the 18 basket frizbee golf course suitable for all the family.
We enjoyed a fantastic family day out at Clerkenwell. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the social distancing and cleaning measures that have been put in place are great. There is lots to do and our children aged 9 and 7 loved the variety of play equipment, games and the adventure walk. The activities here are simple but unusual and well thought out to ensure maximum enjoyment for all. We will definitely return if we visit Pembrokeshire again.

We had an incredible visit to the bug farm today. We met lovely staff who are really knowledgeable about bugs and keen to chat and show us things. Our son (age 8) was delighted to be shown a tarantula, golden orb spider and a scorpion and have all his many questions about leaf cutter ants answered. We were inspired by the wildflower meadow trails. We thought we would pop in for a short visit and ended up being there all day. They have planned to keep covid secure really well and communicate clearly what you should do without spoiling the enjoyment of the place. We thoroughly recommend it and will certainly go back again.
