Seated tasting-10,00 eur/person Take a seat and enjoy tasting in our 200 years old family house. We are open 13.00 h- 20.00 h every day for tasting and sales from June to October.
When we arrived at Vino Spaleta, Renata greeted us and we enjoyed her presentation and video detailing the history of the vineyard. The tasting menu was excellent and paired beautifully with the wines. All the wines were excellent and the reds were some of the best we have ever tasted. Ivo joined us and we had a great time. By the time we left, we felt as if we were old friends. We bought bottles of the white, rose and red. After I raved about her fig jam, Renata gifted me with a jar of delicious preserves. This winery is not typical of the large tasting rooms, it is a small family vineyard. The tasting is more like a visit to a friend's home. It is worth your time to go to Kuna and taste their excellent wines!

I often travel and I try to have massages in different parts of the world; I have visited top spas, as well as local massage centres, so I have something to compare... Full body swedish massage that Barbara gave me was one of the best massages I have ever had; The setting is really nice, under olive tree and a bit away from the hustle and bustle on the beach; very relaxing; And Barbara! I wish I could be her doughter! You can feel, that she knows what she is doing. Stong pressure where needed, relaxing one on the other parts. A wonderful experience that really relaxed my muscles. My 3 friends took a massage a day after and we have all shared a very blisfull look afterwards. Definitely doing it again next year as many times as I will be able to...

Peljesac Peninsula , a place where sun, sea and stone create a perfect home for Plavac Mali , indigenous Dalmatian variety that brings out the best from the "barren land" and gives us "divine nectar." Marlais family, that drags roots from France, settled on the peninsula in the early 17th century, bringing with them the knowledge that every Frenchman has in its blood - how to make good wine.
Anton gave us a tour of the facility and we got to see how the wine goes from harvest to bottling at the this family owned establishment. Anton was so personable and proud of his product. We had the 3 wine tasting menu with 1 white and 2 reds. All were excellent. If I could figure out a way to ship them to the US I would have bought a few cases. The carob Sherry was insanely good. I definitely recommend a stop at this winery.

We toured the villa on a wine tour from Dubronick and fell in love with everything ... the views, wine, service, property and location. I mentioned to my husband that I really wish we could have planned to stay and he surprised me by rearranging our stay to end our vacation at this dreamy location! We can’t say enough about the staff, the service, the food, the wine , the property and attention to detail. You wish for something , they make it happen ! They orchestrated three amazing dinners for us including a wine cellar with candles and another outside watching the sunset on the sea with candles and twinkle lights . I can honestly tell you, We didn’t want to leave ever and I even had my husband extend our stay another day . The attention to detail is so noteworthy esp the personal attention every step of the way including the executive chef , Ante, meeting with us each morning to plan creative meals together! His creations are art and taste even better ! They make everything look easy and treat you like a king and queen . Marianne and her team are outstanding ! We stayed in the owners suite and I highly recommend that experience !!! Wow ... the views and detail are amazing ! Highly recommend it ! Lee Anderson the owner did everything right with his vision . The wine is spectacular and we can’t wait to have it represented in our wine room . We will never ever forget this experience and can’t wait to go back !! The views, smells , people and feeling we felt will be with us always ! Thank you team villa for breathing life back in our souls and feeling so at home in your beautiful villa! We are ready to come back already ... you will see us soon !

Although comparisons are made to The Great Wall of China this is a major exaggeration since at just over 4 miles they don't even match Hadrian's Wall at 73 miles long. That said, they are still well worth seeing. The walls stretch out over the hillside above Ston and it's possible to walk along a continuous length of them right over to the attractive little town of Mali Ston on the other side. Entry fee is 70 Kuna (£8.50) per adult which includes access to Fort Veliki Kastio. The latter is just a shell but provides a good lookout point. Options exist to walk around the walls overlooking Ston itself, a short but steep climb and descent which includes a few turrets or to take the very steep route over to Mali Ston (veer to the right if coming from Ston). We did both and can testify it's a good workout, especially if like us you walk it back over the wall from Mali Ston too! It is possible to return on a less arduous route by following a footpath which runs alongside the road between the towns but of course you don't get the views. There is a section of wall which has still to be restored and was off-limits at the time of our visit, as was Koruna Fortress at Mali Ston which had restoration work in progress. The path on the Mali Ston side between the walls and town is a bit rough and ready however I'd recommend sturdy footwear for the wall walk in any case. Apart from the exercise you can take in good views over Ston and it's salt flats (the salt was a large part of why the wall was built) and there are several nice restaurants in Mali Ston which is a picturesque little place to get refreshments. We spent around 5 hours exploring the walls, towns and having lunch in between. Take a camera, some water and enjoy the relative peace in comparison to Dubrovnik's more popular walls.
