I'm always looking for things to do with my family, and I was so surprised to see what was right here in my backyard! Hudson Valley MOCA is like a mini-MOMA here in Westchester County. I definitely will be coming back.

This park is nearby for me and makes for a lovely walk or bike ride on a nice day. It's a short little loop and has a pretty pier attached that juts out into the river quite a ways. There are nice benches u can sit on to chat or just take in the scenery. This path is connected to the extension that they recently put in that takes u to the point on the Hudson at Montrose just short of Indian Point (Entergy) by the riverfront green. The entire length of both is relatively flat, has nice views of the Hudson and offers numerous sculptures to take in. Safe too. U can have coffee or ice cream at the Creamery or Tacos and a margarita at Taco Dive Bar when you're done.

A nice farely quiet park ona sunday off the beaten path in peekskill with kiddie and picnic areas and hiking. Accessible by metro-north Train from NYC to Peekskill and then a 20-30 minute walk to the park or can catch a quick ride and use your metrocard on the 14 bee-line bus on Washington avenue down to the park.
