Antiques and Vintage collextables, curios and furniture.
Absolutely brilliant little place. Just what Peebles needed. Had a long chat with the owner about all kinds of subjects pertaining to antiques and history. We even bought an historical tour of Peebles that we found brilliantly researched. We've been going there for years and never knew about half of what is listed in their little booklet. Only criticism is its too small if there's over ten of you in there. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their stock. Obviously passionate about what they do.
Steffy's Boutique was born from a love of beautiful things & feeling pretty. Over the years I have gained an appreciation for vintage and classic clothing & accessories. Steffy's Boutique is a blend of Vintage, Repro & good quality preloved occasion wear for women. Each garment has been specially selected and carefully restored to "as good as new" as possible to be loved by another some more.

Heading south to The Borders from Edinburgh, we decided to stop in Peebles where we had enjoyed both the town in the past and Villeneuve Wines shop. Having received extremely good advice on whiskies on our last visit we headed for the wine shop and we’re again warmly greeted by the staff. There is a common misconception that people dislike being sold to, when in reality people generally really enjoy being sold to by people that are good at it. Villeneuve Wines is a case in point. The gentleman that served us (I am very sorry to not have asked his name) was wonderful, he asked my wife (I don’t drink) about her tastes in whisky and then proceeded to take her on a tour of the whiskies that would suit her, plumping for two or three that she might be sure would suit her pallet and pocket. At no stage was there any feeling that we were expected to purchase product. We knew that we were lucky enough to be with an enthusiastic expert, that knew a great deal about his products and took pride in using his knowledge to the benefit of his customers. We left with one of his recommendations, which my wife has confirmed was a perfect choice. It was a pleasure to receive such great service and a pleasure to buy from them. I would thoroughly recommend them for their large range of products, the breadth of their products and the joy the take from sharing both with their customers.
