Our gift shop has an array of locally sourced products, a stylish selection of gifts, stationery and postcards, bespoke souvenirs and a range of items inspired by the Crescent and Buxton’s spa heritage. The knowledgable staff in the visitor centre are on hand for any local and tourist information you need. Our brand new Buxton Crescent Visitor Experience offers an interactive experience in nine intimate rooms inside the iconic Grade I listed Buxton Crescent. This new visitor experience tells the stories of Buxton, The Crescent, its famous water and the many people who came to seek its cure. Don't miss the virtual reality hot balloon ride!
Been coming to buxton for years and so glad to see this finally open to the public again. You can buy a souvenir bottle and fill it from the well indoors. Also some interesting boards about the pump house and its history. And very handy gift shop for all things Buxton. We'll worth a visit

Located in Edale, this flagship centre of the Moors for the Future Partnership provides a national focus for moorland research and an inspirational experience for visitors to the Peak District National Park. The Moorland Centre's design reflect its upland setting. It has a living roof of sedum turf which acts as an eco-friendly insulator, and the building is fuelled by an energy saving ground-source heat pump. Edale is at the start of the Pennine Way and our experienced team are here to help you make the most of your visit to this spectacular area.
Following a long walk we called in the Edale Visitor Centre which is set back off the road which isnt that well situated.Close to Edale Railway Station. It is a good venue with plenty of items stocked together with ample information for the area. Lots of maps and books relating to the locality and surroundings. A bright and clean centre with staff very attentive

Located in the 17th century former Old Market Hall, Bakewell Visitor Centre is fully accessible and ideally placed to welcome you to Bakewell and the 'White Peak'. We offer advice on local events, public transport and how to make the most of your visit to the area. Recently refurbished in January 2021, the retail area offers a huge range of locally produced arts & crafts, gifts & souvenirs and local maps to ensure you enjoy your visit to the area.
We went to Bakewell to look for outdoor clothing, bakewell pudding and generally view the town. Popped in to the visitor centre and found a very warm and informative reception. No rush, answered the questions and generally made to feel welcome.

Castleton is a beautiful village situated in the Hope Valley, in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Surrounded by hillsides and overlooked by Mam Tor (the shivering mountain) and the ancient Peveril Castle, the village is popular for it’s show caves, Blue John stone, history, shops, and walking. Fully refurbished in 2017, it's now the premier visitor centre in the Peak District National Park, with exciting information displays, a dedicated space for the Castleton Historical Society’s museum, expansive retail area, an area for activities, as well as a café serving a selection of local produce.
