It boasts a collection of vases, chemist's jars and other receptacles holding over 600 items. I try to get to this opera and music festival every year if I can as it it such a lovely experience. What is not to like about hearing great music, watching really interesting productions and perhaps hearing a future star at the start of their career, all in a beautiful setting. The chance to explore the gardens and have a picnic meal in the 90 minute interval makes for a relaxed and happy evening. I am really looking forward to this year's festival and just pray for the perfect weather - neither too hot nor too wet.
