Only a few blocks up the street from the Osage County Historical Museum, this is a beautiful church worth seeing for its historic stained glass windows and the beautiful sanctuary. One of our nicest surprises in Pawhuska. We were fortunate to be able to talk with Father Sean who approached us during our visit and told us a little about the history of the parish and the church. A truly nice and remarkable priest that made our visit so memorable.

This museum is relatively small, but very well done. So much history and much of it from the last 100 years, so everyone can relate to some of it. Staff was very friendly and informative, but gave time for us to browse at our leisure. They did an excellent job with the local history. Plan to spend a couple of hours here to get the full experience.

Beautifully displayed history of the Osage Nation. Includes their contributions to both Oklahoma and United Stares history and interests. The beautiful memorial to Osage War heroes is worth the visit.

This was a quick and great trip from Bartlesville. I saw lots of bison, birds, and the wild flowers are breathtaking. Great park to go and get away from it all. So peaceful and tranquil. I definitely will return.

My wife really wanted to visit the PW Mercantile, so on her 50th birthday, we had a road trip from California and had an overnight stopover in Flagstaff, Albuquerque, Amarillo then Pawhuska. We stayed at the Frontier Hotel because the PW Boarding House was fully booked but our room was even special because it has the view of the Mercantile Store. The next day we went early to have our breakfast and was seated by the restaurant hostess (she is unpleasant). The food was good and my wife was ready to shop but she finds it a little bit disappointing because she did not meet her expectations to be wowed. While we were shopping, a nice lady, Mona, greeted us and we had a little chat and took some photos with her. Our overall experience was still great and we did enjoy our time at the Merc, the Lodge, P-town, Charlies and Pawhuska.

In site #1 for three days. Received a courtesy call a couple of days prior to arrival to let me know they were shutting off the Watertown individual sites due to weather; they let me know where I could fill my tanks when I arrived. The park was clean and comfortable; restrooms were clean. There's a large tent for group activities that was tr roomy enough for about 25 of us, plus tables for food. The park has some good hiking trails, and it's an easy drive in to town if you need supplies or if you want to explore the shops.

This was a fun shop to wander thru. I bought a couple of little things and the woman who was working this past Saturday was helpful w/some directions and other things.

Great museum to spend a couple of hours. Lady at the front grew up in the area and had several great stories to tell about "Son" (Ben Johnson) as he was called when he was growing up. So much to see with life like horses and many items belonging th Ben and other famous actors and rodeo champs. Take in the movie as it tells how nice and honorable Ben Johnson was. If you are nice, the lady might let you see the actual black hat that he wore in the movie"The Train Robbers" with John Wayne. a real treat...
