This tour is required reding when you are in Parnaiba. Several tour companies have offices under the bridge by the river and they all do pretty much the same tour, at the same time. They just use different ships but converge on essential stops throughout the day long tour of the river delta. Expect prices in the range of R$60 - R$75 per person including colectivo transfer to and from the docks at Tatus, lunch, and a late afternoon crab feast.

If you like remote Beaches with clean sand and crystal clear water, that's the place to be. Not far away from Parnaiba, only twenty minutes driving. The beach is immaculate and the water is very calm, perfect for the newcomers who are not used to swim in the ocean. The local market is great and the food is not that expensive. Amazing place

It is not marvelous, but it was the best place to sunbathe and enjoy the sea in Parnaiba. The restaurants are not expensive and I got there by bus.

Fica na Praça das Graças, no centro histórico de Parnaíba e é uma Igreja Católica do século XVIII (1779), que perdura até os tempos atuais.
Interessante para católicos e historiadores, mas não achei nada de mais nela que valha muita atenção.

In my humble opinion there's not much to do here. It's hot, dry and windy. There are very few artisanato shops, no open restaurants, and a good deal of infrastructure needing repair. Hardly worth your time and effort.

Everything here is just amazing! It couldn't be different, it's located on a APA (Protection Area Enviroment) and it's really pretty. I think you can just get there by boat or maybe flying. Totally worth taking the cruise, it's a must. Don't forget to pack sun protection stuff and get your camera ready! You're going to see loads of wild life. We saw a crocodile there (but please, don't touch the animals. Keep the wild, wild!). Long story short, this place is a paradise. Higlly recommended!
