Paralimni (Greek: Παραλίμνι) is a town situated in the southeast of Cyprus, slightly inland, within the Famagusta District. Since the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus, it has increased in size and status, due to the migration of many refugees fleeing from the north. Many of the people who work in the tourist industry of Protaras and Ayia Napa live in Paralimni, which is now the temporary administrative centre of the Famagusta District and the biggest municipality of the Greek Cypriot-controlled area of the district.

If you are in Paralimni and near the Square, then you cannot fail to see the Agios Georgious Church. Beautifully designed and built and exceptionally well maintained. A true piece of Old Cyprus in amongst the Modern. Well worth a few minutes of your time to stop and admire. You will be glad you did.

We tried to find this little gem 2019 but failed. So 2020 we were not leaving until we succeeded. OMG. Such a beautiful place. I got very emotional at the site of this little gem. It's well worth the walk

A reputable company for horseback riding in the Cape Greko area. Enjoy an hour ride in the most picturesque part of Konnos National park at a very low cost. We welcome all ages from first time riders to experienced, saddle up and enjoy the ride!
Well what can I say after reading the reviews I was really nervous about booking as did not know what to expect. Angelos is very experienced and very passionate about his animals. Me and my niece went for a 5pm ride and after going to Cyprus for 20 years and first time visiting was worried about this arrogant man, dirty horses and dangerous dogs. Firstly my horse prince was beautiful was extremely well kept and well mannered even with the intence heat, my nieces horse seemed a little younger and more energetic but again was well kept and very calm. Angelos works extremely hard the stables were immaculate and gave us advice on saddles for the best ride, angelos is always safety first and was well organised ensuring we had little packs for our valuables then explaining if we follow instruction we will learn and be safe. The horses responded extremely well to his instruction and we went for a wonderful walk down to the cliffs and back, angelos took pictures for us to send on and the views were amazing. As for angelos being arrogant this is nonsense this is a hard working man with such passion for his horses and customers giving us positive energy and teaching us how to ride horses correctly and safe. He even went out of his way the following day to ensure we got all the pictures he took and we enjoyed lovely refreshments with fantastic views at his ranch ( Don't think these are the actions of an arrogant man) As for the dangerous dogs, Oscar came running at me n I thought oh no I was going to loose a leg then he gave me his paw rolled over and expected me to tickle his belly. Thank you angelos for all we learnt, our fantastic experience and getting to meet you and your lovely animal family. Can't wait to be back next year. Keep week n keep safe.
