I wnted to pick up 7 or 8 souvenirs while staying at Comfort Suites on Paradise Island. The straw market is packed and a cab ride and the gift shop near the hotel was pricy. Just around the corner from the gift shop is this little gem. Manned by three delightful ladies they had a full variety of things to buy at reasonable prices. Bargaining is hard but doable. Who said Atlantis is sunk? Bombastic entertainment complex combining Disneyworld theatrics with Las Vegas kitsch where you can gamble, dine and shop.
We enjoyed a couple evenings here only a short walk from the Warwick hotel where we stayed safe to walk at night, had a good win first night broke even second night of black jack lively environment staff and a general feel of happiness

The resort is located on Paradise Island, near Nassau and features fresh and salt-water pools, lagoons, waterfalls, and a marine habitat. The spa is a 30,000-square-foot facility with 32 private treatment rooms, two couple's villas, and two couple's spa suites with private bathing amenities. There is also a unisex relaxation lounge, a retail area, a salon, and men's and women's locker rooms with warm and cold plunge pools, steam and sauna rooms, and showers, with an aromatherapy room in the women's locker room and a plasma TV in the men's lounge room. Treatments include facials, microdermabrasion, cellulite therapy, teeth whitening services, body scrubs, salt glows, sunburn therapy, manicures, pedicures, makeup applications, hair services, waxing, wraps, bridal services, and therapies for men and children. The spa includes a 15,000-square-foot fitness center offering personal training, body composition analysis, nutrition and fitness analysis, yoga, and Pilates. Ancient techniques from Asia, traditional European spa therapies, and natural spices, fruits and minerals indigenous to The Bahamas meld together to provide the most unique treatments and the ultimate rejuvenating experiences. It is a divine sanctuary that escapes the limits of time. Sumptuous massages, rejuvenating facials, soothing wraps and exotic scrubs headline the roster of tried and true therapies. Brides can prepare for their special day, by spending the day in the spa with one of our many spa packages, in the event time is limited, just have hair, make-up and nails for the bride or bridal party. Advance reservations are recommended.
We were two couples in our 50's traveling to the Atlantis Resort Bahamas in March 2021. We booked massages at the Madera Spa on the property using a coupon code they have online to get 25% off. The massage was fantastic, the staff was warm and friendly, professional and good at their job. Thanks, Melinda, for a GREAT massage. The facilities were nice. There is a sauna, steam room, heated plunge pool (there were jets in the wall of the plunge pool but they don’t work) so they call it a plunge pool, and a relaxation area in the men’s area with TV. There were locker and shower facilities as well. There were similar facilities in the women’s area as well but instead of a tv lounge there was a aroma therapy relaxation room.
